One the biggest issues in this case was use of a double standard. The jury ruled that cause prior art couldn't run on iOS device it wasn't valid prior art. But if you use same logic the iOS patents wouldn't run on Andriod hence no infringement, but they ruled that part didn't matter and found Samsung did infringe. Its what i like to call the Political standard, commonly employed by Obama.
"Tim Cook has repeated that he hates litigation, but has still toed the party line by exclaiming that Apple welcomes innovators but doesn't like when other companies rip off their intellectual property"
^ Yet apple has done everything to kill off innovation of others that compete with them and ripped off a lot more intellectual property then anyone even knows.
Yet he is at the helm of the ship when mostly all the lawsuits from apple against Samsung started. He is just trying to save face in all the Bad PR apple has gotten over last couple years.
Sadly PAE in my experience is iffy period, i got a q6600 machine has 2x2gb sticks in it and don't have even 3gb useable. it runs xp 32bit for a reason. PAE has never helped give full 4gb ram on any 32bit OS i have ever used.
You are pretty much a retard aint ya? They stole video from the game, gave 0 credit and pretty much played it off as an Attack on another country. This was proper use of DMCA if there has even been one.
Um fair use, no. Those movies captured from video games give credit to the game they are taken from. The video used by north korea uses games with 0 credit to the game makers. But with that said any those videos on youtube the game creator is well within their rights to remove them but they don't as its not to piss off their fan's. N korea used the video in what is a clear IMO threat to the US of nuclear weapon use. China their biggest ally wouldn't stand by and allow that to happen.
I could be wrong, but Apple only tries to take 30% when its in app purchase, its why skydrive was yanked off the app store as it had in app purchase for more space and apple wanted a cut.
Might be something to talk to the EFF on? They might be able to help you with answers to some of your question's as they have lawyers fight these kinds of things.
i think problem is, music industry takes so much in $ from these services for their music, the smaller bands like this that don't have music company backing get the short in the stick. streaming company can't operate at a loss. if they can't lease make a profit then might well just close up shop.
Yea it was, but wonder if reason you can't resell your steam games besides ones like assassin's creed III which has striped down version of uplay which you have to register your key with, is the game companies that choose to have steam as their distro platform. Some of them made that call to say they couldn't transfer games. If its made easy to sell a game to another person, protections that are needed to be in place to stop say someone from getting their account hacked and all their games transferred to another person for say 10 cents.
they don't exactly lie, they do speak the truth if you look at numbers they usually quote in a certain way. they just usually leave out the ones that would make them look bad. The truth they speak of is just on the numbers that make them look good. Like the 4 million job's Obama claims to have created. This video explains it all.

Port everything over to Linux so we can ditch Wine and Windows. Someone had to say it.
OK. First convert all GPL-based libraries to LGPL so that they are non-viral, sometimes you have to statically link. Someone had to say it.
Second, make it so when you install video drivers you are not almost guaranteed to spend some time at a CLI prompt cause gui don't want to start. Someone had to say it.
Problem with most laws over there, they are based on the religion and not some sense. In some countries over there "Blasphemy" carries the death sentence.
Yea it wasn't enough hence why they tried to pass ACTA next, and since its a "trade agreement". Good question how it was able to get that label. It would bypass house and senate and go right to obama's desk or slipped under bathroom stall with a very fat envelope .
If you were to recall when jury did interviews after the trial they admitted they punished Samsung for the use of the patents, which they were not supposed to do per the jury instructions. So what the damaged should been if all 6 patents were valid is up for debate at this point. 3 that are preliminary invalid made up a major majority of the judgement so.
Sad thing about this case, its a Shorter list of what jury did right then what they completely screwed up on

noble prize don't mean anything anymore since they awarded to Obama for doing NOTHING!
If you can connect and directly log in to root, I think you are an idiot. Regardless of the password.
If you don't have service pack 1 installed you are an idiot anyway to run a non-updated system.

Since you don't know what profits were from piracy and what was actually legit use of the service can't be determined.
I believe the cases are completely different as parody is allowed, straight out stealing video from a game using in an attack type statement is not.

then you are boycotting pretty much 75-80% of the games released now days. they all have some type of register/online activation system.

Apple copied every other fucking phone maker before that enough with apple fan boy propaganda. The Design is NOT new.

Last original invention they had was gun powder.
http://www.tomshardware.com/news/intel-arm-processor-soc-atom,17476.html When that story was posted i said that all ARM was doing was poking the bear. Didn't take long for Intel to get there either. Just shows you don't piss off a company with a lot of $ for R&D
