I just put down my thoughts on the issue I was not "Correcting" you just trying to clear up the fact that there would be a semi-forced transition from MS products to OSS products. But I don't think it would not be as disastrous as you may think.

They are talking about barring Microsoft from Future tenders. The current contracts will be fulfilled, just no new ones will be accepted.
Which I think is a good thing. It would provide a slow change over from Closed source OS to an Open source OS.
As for the "Green" Aspect: how much of the worlds carabon foot print is caused by Tech support running around trying to Fix Windows BSoD's? and general buggines?

Now Microsoft want to store your life off-line on your pc with them.
Next thing you know your mobile provider will give you recording of all your phone calls you've ever made through them...(Well makes a change from them giving the recordings to the government!):D
Since everyone will have their mobile on during the flight. It's safe to assume that their will be a few with their Bluetooth on.

It sounds to me like Yahoo is trying to force Microsoft to start a "Hostile Takeover" bid.
Yahoo probably does not want to be part of the Microsoft hegemony and has probably got it's lawyers on the case.
I bet within a few hours of Microsoft announcing it's started hostile takeover bid Yahoo will have lawyers in the American and EU courts blocking the Bid due to Competition/Monopoly rules.
And we all know how he court's just love Microsoft's antics....:D

Yahoo get good press (there shares prices level out above the original value when this started).
