Surely the pirates could just create some kind of "save state" that stored all the game data currently in use. Probably create pretty big save files, but I wouldn't actually be too surprised if it loaded quicker than logging into the DRM server, downloading a save and opening it...
You seem to be forgetting that people aren't buying the iOS device specifically for gaming, they already have it. They probably also have a high end gaming machine of one type or other (xbox, PS3, PC, wii) at home. Why pay more for another device purely for gaming while on the move?
Probably because when people have a meal they prefer it to be at a comfortable table with proper cutlery and a 15" plate rather than eating with their fingers on the go from a take away box.
I keep an ipod classic in the car as it's battery lasts a lot longer and it can hold a lot more material than my phone. Mind you, I only do this as I don't want to carry it around with me any more...
I had an LG Viewty which was as far as I can tell very similar to the Prada, to try and compare it to the phone is a joke, terrible browser, useless email, bad music player, resistive touch screen...
The iphone was a big step up technologically. I do miss the fact that the alarm still worked when the phone was switched off (even with the battery too low to power the phone up!!). That was an amazing feature.
If you have a bad tooth you'd probably be better off seeing a dentist. NHS dentists are far cheaper than private, they generally consult a calender to find a free time for an appointment, maybe it's a special government calender though, I don't really know what I'm talking about. Luckily neither do you by the sound of it.
I've got more technology too, my furnace is more than twice as efficient, my insulation is significantly better, my light bulbs use about 1/3 the energy, my fridge uses less, even my stereo uses less power... despite adding 2 computers, wireless network router, network storage device, a DVD player, 2 smart phones, and various other gadgets
Amazing, and manufacturing all of that stuff costs zero energy?
So you consider Dr Jerkwad of the University of Alabama in Huntsville to be a modern day Newton? Because no matter how many big words you use in your following sentences that single assertion is stupid enough to make anyone with any sense disregard the rest of your point.
And it's "Lo and behold".
Thank fuck for that, because you obviously have no idea what you're talking about. *plonk*
Surely that was immediately obvious when he mentioned that he listens to Celine Dion. I had the same feeling about a former flatmate who sold stereos when he told me the best tune to demonstrate with was "Wind beneath my wings". Everything you say after that doesn't even have to be listened to.
There are plenty other faults beyond the RROD that aren't covered by the extendeed warranty. I have seen 3 with the "Insert this disc into an xbox 360 console" fault that weren't covered. I think there is a lot of bad feeling toward Microsoft over the build quality of the 360 that is hidden for now due to the investment most people have in their game library. The next gen will probably show this up.
I can't decide which I want to boycott more out of Sony and Microsoft, They're both evil, but at least Sony makes consoles that work for more than 6 months... Annoying as I do love games but run only Linux at home.
They understand well enough if you buy a cheap crap Toshiba laptop it's unusable within a year and it's usually cheaper to throw it away than pay a tech repair it.

Of course Exxon are saints, because they don't have British in their name...

2.14 grams of gold.
Should we toss a coin to decide who is the sidekick?
Duh...

Star Trek did it.

I'm with you if you want to do a press release saying that on November 5th you and I will attack the very fabric of reality.
That should put the fear of god in people!

I'm tempted to consume you and see how you deal with it, possibly with some fava beans.

Maybe the sound booth was 50 yards back as well? It usually is. The sound rarely sounds good right at the front of a gig, loud, yes.

How many machines do you have that are already capable of playing mariokart and Zelda?

You should give it a name, something cool like "BitTorrent"
as the disks are over a decade old.
Wow, you must be able to store multiple DVDs on that array!
{myslashdotname}@gmail.com would be very grateful for G+ invite, if you would be so kind. Thanks, Stuart.

Where on that page does Google disclose what records it keeps of searches made versus IP address?
I'm no privacy expert, but if I suspect if I could look at the searches you have performed from you IP address you wouldn't be too happy about that...
For OSS audio software? It's better than SADiE which I have to use regularly and look what that costs.
