    If by "character development" you mean when the scriptwriters were writing an episode they pulled each characters attitude and mindset from a hat to keep it fresh then yes. That was the most disjointed piece of crap I have ever seen.

    They don't have to, if you are using a Vaio you are already getting it pretty deep in the ass from Sony.

    Absolutely. If Malware needs admin, it's disturbingly easy to phish for a sudo password. Linux tends to ask for your sudo password a dozen times a day, training users to enter it like a reflex. Linux, unfortunately, depends a great deal on not being installed on 90% of the worlds computers for any muppet to use, and having a disproportionate number of tech savvy geeks in it's userbase.

    What kind of shit are you shovelling here? Nothing but updates should require password for day to day usage, and you can set security updates to run automatically in the background.

    I've got ~150GB and need something like this, given most people could fit 10GB on their phone these days you're not going to have a lot of problems handling a collection that size. Unfortunately this still doesn't look like the right option to me, why should I upload it all to the cloud? I'd prefer something that streamed it from my house.

    If you haven't seen it screw anyone over you haven't seen anyone use the software... Files I have ripped from a Sony HDV camera into vegas crash the program and have to be processed using ffmpeg to make them usable. Sound Forge is alright but it hasn't changed since it was Sonic Foundry ~10 years ago. Fuck Sony.

    That's what happens in UK, my BMW cost me £200 to road tax last year, my friends crappy Toyota Yaris -£20. Big difference, especially when you consider the difference in fuel costs.
