Honestly, they're separate injuries.
Thats like saying that if you got your arm blown off, you'd die to a bullet wound in the shoulder.
Now, she may have very well died of the crash / impaled later on, but we won't know that will we.. as things were... ended.
I would say that needlessly trademarking quick buzzwords like that is obiously not what trademark law was meant for,
but who really cares about "Cyber-____" ? That went out in like, the 80s.
If he truly is trapped in the 80s, may God have mercy on his soul.
Thats like saying that if you can reset CMOS, reformat, and have a new OS install put on it to fix it, it was never bricked.
What exactly IS bricked, then? A brick?
I'd like to be a little more liberal with the term, myself.
Yeah, I'm personally offended that they would make it sound like the average mac user is saddened to find that OS X is NOT Vista.
WTF?
yeah, bootcamp is nice if you HAVE to run some windows app that dosn't have a mac port or equivalent (games) but the idea that the layman mac user is dependant upon windows is just asinine. From the community of mac users that I know, most of them are just happy to get by with iLife. They might need to buy Office so they can shoot.docs at their PC-using collegues, (I prefer neoOffice/openOffice personally), but they most definately do not *need* windows, nor do most of them know about bootcamp / care to try it.
Lol, the editor wars strikes again.
Are we eventually going to get to a point where nerds cite their editor of choice as a sort of gang territory affiliation?
"V-Side 4 life!"
"E-Side, Newbie!"
They ARE both very easy to form with the fingers...
For older readers? I happen to be 19 and as you can see from my username, I'm no stranger to the Restaurant.
It would be cool, though. A ship so dark you weren't sure when you actually touched it.
So if I ping you, I go to jail? Seems overly extreeme.
If your system has a public front on the internet, then you should expect some traffic. Thats how it works. It *can't* be illegal, or we've killed the internet. This guy probabally dosn't believe in what he's saying anyways; he's just looking for a legal loophole to sue those guys.
One thing this dosn't seem to allow for, is the differences on bandwidth demand based upon time of day.
If you're stealing all the bandwidth downloading huge files or torrenting around 7pm, well, then you're going to slow people down.
But if you're downloading alot at 3 a.m. and nobody is even online to notice, who cares?
This system is going to end up with alot of unused bandwidth if they have hard-coded caps. If they're going to cap, they should at least make it dynamic. I suppose they want money though...
My father told me I wasn't allowed to play wolfenstein 3d, so I had to.
And it was awesome.
Then I got really into scorched earth, and doom. And then everything else. =3
screw that, you're still vulnerable. The truly enlightened expert has already replaced his vocal cords with a modulator, allowing him to telnet via a phone line and manually interpret the code in real-time.
No, as Duke Nukem will never come out.
Luckily, when UNIX time breaks, a wormhole through space will open up and someone will be sent forward in time to infinity A.D., where they may then purchase Duke Forever and return to our time with it intact.

I read Wikipedia. Before I know it, I've got 200 tabs open to various subjects. Fun way to kill downtime and learn new things.
And then you can put Guinness into the corkscrew! Brilliant!
