The port of Beyond Good & Evil doesn't let you remap buttons to a controller/joystick, and some critical core features can't be remapped at all!
For you poor lugs in similar situations, I'd say for you to take a look at XPadder. Map any sort of keyboard/mouse/etc. movement to any other sort of controller. Worth every penny and saves a ton of hassle!
(Not a corporate shill, just a satisfied customer!
Well, virtual currency is considered equal to real currency in South Korea, and a man was arrested for virtual robbery in Britain. A Dutch Court punished a couple of teenage thieves as well. If I dug deeper I'm sure I could find more stories.
On a WoW server, a group of mates and myself played highwaymen. One of us would be a scantily clad Dranei, and the others would be hidden near by. Stand and deliver! d:
Built into the OS, no - they've phased out DOS in 7 (frankly, a stupid move on their part IMO). But DOSBox still exists, so essentially with a third party program you can.
For your question to better fit the Mac, it would be more like asking "Can you run a Windows XP program on Windows 7?" OS9 is not THAT old. d;
I have never opened up a monitor - the Great Sages who taught me the Way of the Computer warned of deadly capicators and to never attempt such a thing - but what's to stop an ingenious individual from removing the frames on monitors and just sticking them next to one another?
I'd much rather have a 1/16th inch gap over a 1 inch gap between multiple monitors...
I mean, okay, I get what they did with the migration from OS9 to OSX. It killed off a lot of legacy code and generally made the operating system more usable and secure. (A Mac fiend friend of mine called the jump from 9 to 10 "like going from Windows 98 to Windows 7".) But if you run a legacy app in a virtual machine, wouldn't it negate any potential security threats to the main OSX OS by virture of the very nature of virtual machines?
Get rid of the tax breaks that many countries afford religious organizations and they'll abolish themselves in due time, or at least become weakened enough that they'll no longer be a major problem.
If we can get over the issue of needing fuel, then yes.
As I understand it we can turn solar power into motor power, so solar power is perfect for a rover rolling around on Mars. But no matter how we design it, I don't think we could put anything up into space that will be able to flail something around and turn it into usable momentum.
When the day comes that we can make electric engines, i.e. turn stored electric into thrust, then a space barge will be a practical thing.
Another way it could be done is taking a craft with powerful engines and essentially towing a carbon fiber net to catch stuff. Fishing for old satellites, as it were. From there it would be a matter of cracking the net back open in a degrading orbit.
Man, I would buy Lego Mindstorms just to figure out how to do the same thing with robots. Two bots try to crush an M&M, and the loser gets shoved off down a chute, into a cup, and catapulted into my mouth.
The EU seems to be acting a lot like early America IMO - highly resistant to interstate power sharing. Give 'em a couple of hundred years and the bad guys will beat 'em down to as bad as the States or worse.
As for bands handling copyright infringement themselves, a major problem for the labels is that a lot of bands simply don't care or actually like it. You've heard of big bands like Metallica going off and suing people, but how often do you see indie bands with a few thousand fans doing it? Most of the guys got screwed on their record contract and make their money on touring so they don't give a shit.
Microsoft seems to have a history of taking promising games and then ruining them. My group of friends were the exact same way with Perfect Dark on the N64.
I hear about the next Perfect Dark on the Xbox and I am understandably excited - but like most modern gamers I've been burned by previous purchases and so I wait it out.
If they hadn't fucked that game up so horribly I would have been an early adopter.
I have had computer repair customers come over to my home/workshop and connect to my wireless, but they'll have ancient laptops that can only use WPA or WEP. I'm very interested in hearing about how you could set this up with a network. Got any links?

What about murder or theft?

Well, I for one am rather disturbed by bowler hats.

You fool! Lavishing praise upon Microsoft only brings the End of Days nearer! Quick, someone flame Windows Vista and call Bill Gates a homosexual!
Hostess could definitely get into the apps biz.
It'd be a piece of cake.
Thank you, thank you! I'll be here all night! Tip your waitress, try the veal!
Mac doesn't offer any sort of compatability mode?

I thought they were programmed to maintain the best possible traffic flow?

So first Britain treats 1984 like an instruction manual, and now Australia is treating Equilibrium like a How-To film?
This game has been rated EC-10.
Gas prices should be higher anyway.

Yeah, and when the relief forces pull out many years from now, who do you think will still be around? The local ISPs or the NGOs?
It sounds like a massive pain in the ass but a ton of fun. Guess I have another weekend project to add to the pile. Thanks a bunch!

Freeze gun: tank, host, liquid nitrogen. Damn near freezes on contact.
Jetpacks have been done. they're just loud and inefficient.
And if the Devastator you're talking about is the mini nuke, then let me introduce you to the Davy Crockett.
I was looking around online and I happened to stumble upon a picture of that very facility!
I didn't make it to the courtroom on time.
I didn't make it to the courtoom on time.
Drag your finger over the button and then remove your finger from the touchscreen?
Yes, that's what I'm saying.
I love how I got modded down, though I don't know whether it was the anti-American crowd, the AMERICA FUCK YEAH crowd, or both.
