So if his neighbor was throwing broken glass and garbage onto his lawn and throwing rocks through his window you would say the same thing? it is his responsibility to defend his house?
The only thing wrong with the lawsuit is that 'electromagnetic sensitivities' does not exist, not that it is his responsibility to defend his house all by himself.
The only reason I can think that their is not more piracy on consoles is the kind of people that use them.
If gaming ever dies, and computer lovers are forced to get a console to play anything good, then the amount of piracy will not change at all (it might even increase). In general piracy has always been a lot easier on the consoles then on a computer
I have no idea about the statistics about most people but everyone I know needs more then 40GB.
"or packing 100 games onto their drive" Lately it seems all big name games are over 10GB per game, meaning you would not even need to be a avid gamer to use more then 40GB on just games installed on your computer.
While I see SSD becoming more common in the future, if HHDs continue to be significantly cheaper for large storage they will continue to play a roll.
While SSDs are getting cheaper and cheaper, computers are needing more and more storage space.
Right now I have 2TB installed on my desktop and if I had wanted SSDs it would of cost $7000~=((2,000/44)*$125). Which is obviously not even close to affordable.
SSDs make a lot of sense for some things but are not likely to replace HHDs anytime soon.
They way I understand the debate: Democrats(pro heath care): Everyone gets good heath care. Republicans(con heath care): Government heath care is socialism and will kill your grandparents and pets.
Completely agree. I think how someone got confused and thought that it was not a democracy is if you just consider democracies slogan "government for the people, by the people". It obviously does not work out exactly like that. To use an analogy: anyone can theoretically be a politician. But only elected politicians get to be vote on how the country will operate.
It makes absolutely no sense that you can have sex but not send a dirty picture of yourself to your boy/girlfriend, and if you do you will be taken to some kind of "education program".
No sane person would call teens sending their teenage boy/girlfriends a dirty picture of themselves pedophiles or bring them up on child porn charges. But obviously just mentioning the words "child porn" makes a lot of people loose their sanity.
Personally I think this should be done a lot more, A lot of writers/directors do not seem to be able to not rework a story when they make it into a movie and i would rather see a new story then a movie with a story that has been changed.
Young Gollum does not exist between The Hobbit and The Lord of the Ringd stories.
I believe that during that time is actually when he is being tortured in mordor (but that might be during the beginning of the LoTRs), among other things.
But either way, he is not comedy material. Not that I would put it past GL to destroy the spirit of Tolkien's work that much.
3D does not make a bad script/actor/director/... better. Frankly, 3D has nothing to do with story telling.
You are right, but movies are not just about story. If all you want is a good story then read a book, in my opinion, in general, they have far superior stories to movies. The real problem, IMHO, is the length, 2-3 hours is not long enough, in many cases, to get to know and like (or dislike) the characters and still have something interesting happen without it seeming rushed, but I am getting off topic here.
Movies are more about a simple short story being told where anyone, with any age and any level of intelligence will enjoy (in general).
Still seems like they could of tried to reduce the MS monopoly instead of trying to reduce the effects. But thanks for the clarification, it actually makes some sense now.
Now if they could of gotten rid of the MS tax on most computers and given everyone a choice of different OS's or none at all when buying hardware.
That was not the contest. Maybe they did not want to show the actual servers before the beginning of the contest and only used the tower to demonstrate on?
Is why they are going after Microsoft exclusively and why only browsers.
Every OS on the planet has a list of software they have bundled with them. Their is nothing wrong with this, sure I do not like using pretty much everything MS bundles with windows, but I would not want to spend huge amounts of time configuring it during installation and still only be offered the top X of the market share.
but a basic human right might be having the freedom to do whatever you want on your own property if it is not hurting anyone else.

Since when has statutory rape been part of cyber bullying?
It sounds like cyber bullying was the least of her problems.
How hard can it be to program a computerized timekeeping and payroll system.
230 highly paid people and it has been underdevelopment for over a decade?
1 person should of been able to get it done in a decade.
To developers the resale market is akin to the piracy market, the people stealing money from them.
Of course they will try to destroy it.
They even have more reasons to hate the resale market since not only does it remove game sales, people are making money off it their loss in sales.

But no one needs to answer the questions honestly.
He should of put random strings for the answers to the security questions.
Everyone already knows that question based security is not safe.
The news here is that the POTUS is not following basic security measures to keeps his accounts safe.
Which he really should be.
People with STDs apparently.

I would like to support sites by viewing their ads but if it leaves you more open to viruses even on high-profile sites then it is not worth the risk.

They talk about his a lot on the main page (apparently they call him "Maitreya").
And of course most of the stuff said is pretty ridiculous and funny.
I think you hit the mark perfectly.
It makes absolutely no sense that you can have sex but not send a dirty picture of yourself to your boy/girlfriend, and if you do you will be taken to some kind of "education program".

The original article mentions the tax is also proposed for computers.
