    $20 dollars a month just for DVR service?
    I have no knowledge of other services prices but that is far to much money.

    It should be like 2 dollars/month.
    A one time purchase of a DVR only costs a few hundred.

    While 69% is a majority, it is still far from 100%.
    Their is still 25 Million phones unregistered

    How would you feel, if for example the US power suppliers ungraded their system and they had a few problems but 69% of Americans still had power afterward.
    more or less successful, right? The majority of Americans have power.

    A majority is not even close to success in many endeavors.

    And after cell phones what if they force their citizens to register other things.
    and then the obvious things is, "hay, if we know where all are citizens are and what they are doing at all times then it will be near impossible to get away with crimes"
    Seems to me this is a very slippery slope, ending in absolute tyranny.
    It is not even that long of a slope, even just using cell phones, all they need is some required software or hardware in all of them with some sort of GPS and the government can know what you are doing and were you are in real time.
    And , of course, this is all in the name of reducing crime.

    I know very little about iPhone development, but one question comes to mind when reading this article.

    Are their not other languages that do, or other that could be made in the future, that compile directly to iPhone code that are not one of the 3 listed?
    and do not use "intermediate layers between the platform and the developer".

    If that was their only concern then when also restrict the language?

    I think you should be able to make a very similar game as long as you do not direct copy the graphics or the name I do not think you should encounter much trouble.
    Just never say anymore then that it was inspired by the game.

    I am in no way an expert, but (very general level design, movement, and just one or two game features) should be fine.
    Pretty much every single FPS has similar moment and features anyways.

    As someone with experience, a few years ago.

    I would say excessive use of ad-blocker, blocking all unnecessary pictures/multimedia, really helps.
    When a page is reduced to just its text, it might not look as good but it sure loads faster.

    And a quick look at SI prefix history (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SI_prefix#List_of_SI_prefixes) will show you that they have been slowly expanding that table anyways (as it was needed most likely).

    Well to be 100% truthful, don't they?
    Not that I would ever promote his idea.

    But the ability to have consequence free sex does promote sexual activity.
    Thu, I think we all know by now that any odds of getting pregnant/infected by diseases will stop most kids.
    So if we have slightly more sexual activity, but far less teen pregnancy and STDs, then most of us would think that is a deal worth taking.

    But is not the point of Sex ed to teach children about save sex.
    and contraceptives are a main part of that.

    This seems like he just does not like the idea of Sex Ed in general, and this new curriculum has possibly just given him an excuse.

    I understand how MS could sometimes release updates that are harmful to some computers, they control on the hardware and the other programs installed on their customers machines.

    But in the case of consoles and Sony they know exactly what they will encounter, one of a few versions of the Playstation 3.
    And I believe this is the second of their updates to brick PS 3s.

    So my questions is, do they not even test their updates on the PS 3s?

    Or are PS 3s of the same version radically different enough to brick or not brick with the same update?
    Or are these network issues, the patch is not fully being installed (they did not makes a robust enough updating system)?

    but when you talk about retaliation with nukes you are not saying lets destroy their armies or their military bases.
    Nukes are for indiscriminate killing, destroying hole cities of civilians or entire nations or complete genocide.

    What the POTUS is saying is, even you indiscriminately kill our civilians we may not wipe out your entire race or country.
    That does not mean that the US could not retaliate by destroying the opposing country's ability to ware war on the US and neutralize the government that ordered the attack.

    But as any civilized government should do, they plan not to attack their civilians.

    So my question is, do you not understand results of using a nuke or do you actually believe the the destruction of large groups of a enemy's civilian population is justified when alternatives exist.
