These need to be evaluated by an Electrical Engineer and it's quite likely that they need to be signed and sealed by a Professional Engineer. Just because my school had microelectronics, telecom and general tracks does not mean that those are the only areas in EE.

As an example if you earned 500 EUR a week after working there for 5 years the company would own you 5000 EUR not a small sum.
Tablets cannot read optical media unlike a laptop. There are people with audio cds that want to convert them or photos they ordered on cd-r from a photo lab. Are there tablets that can read flash drives which I would consider a good alternative?

Good luck with your 3 dollar keyboard with a 25 cent Bluetooth chip that's marked up to 20 dollars when there is RFI, a ban on wireless transmissions or a bug in Bluetooth radio.

I am an accountant with large data sets I need a real computer.
I do research and need to access data not in an "app" I need a real computer.
I am a lawyer and need to write documents and store confidential client information. I need local storage and that needs to be connected to a real computer
In my school district High School Teachers work 6 out of 9 periods. One period for lunch and two "prep periods". For elementary school teachers they have breaks for when the students are in lunch recess and music/gym etc.
In New York State a Masters degree is required after 5 years of teaching. Teachers in New York get a pension, very good health insurance, tenure and can depending on the local district contract get permanent salary (and pension) increases for taking professional development courses. This includes the courses required to maintain your license.
In my district a licensed chiropractor became a science teacher for the money. Teaches have obtained PhD's for the money. The highest paid teacher was "teaching" in school suspension.

I don't think that's necessarily a conclusive argument. I can draw a beautiful picture on page 874 of my personal copy of the federal tax code, but that doesn't make the tax code art.
This is why it's important not to focus just on the course material when in school knowing more methods then presented on the textbooks you used can be very useful. Reading about your field in general can be quite informative.
You forget again that teachers only work for 180 days of the year in New York State, sure the 60hr weeks may not balance out the 180 days of work but it is something to consider. Also consider that teachers receive good benefits like most public employees. Also does the teacher in question have tenure?
