what would you expect? It is an imitation of an already crappy program, namely iphoto. Iphoto used to be good two years ago. Now, it just sucks and so does f-spot.
I can't think of any game more mature than Endless Ocean. You go there, sit down and relax a little bit after a hard day of work with some fine wine. Not always I want to get into some teenage carnage.
Get two DSL lines ($13 - $19 each), add in a NAT and a couple of these routers, probably need to do some secure tunneling to avoid the DNS of the Cable / DSL Companies and voila you are good to go. Your DSL speed will vary based on distance, but even far away you can get 1.5MB down and 384Kbps up. If closer you can get 3Mb down and 768Kbps up. (That is faster than 98% of Americans with Cable Modems because of throttling of service by Cable providers.)
Sorry to ask, but is the broadband that slow in the US? I had no idea. I was using 40mbps on adsl, switched to fiber/cable and I'm now at 100mpbs here in spain.
In my family's house in Brazil, I'm using 100mbps as well. Costs about 10 times the price you said, but still is 10x cheaper per mbps....
* Matte screen w/ WXGA+ LED backlight (new Macbook Pros are all glossy)
No they're not. A friend of mine bought a Macbook Pro 15" unibody with a matte screeen last week. It's the one with the SD card reader, so it's quite recent.
The only difference I noticed is that the screen's borders are silver, not black and the webcam is quite noticeable, compared to a glossy one.
That's a nice screen, but I still prefer the glass glossy one. Way easier to clean, better colors.
Yes, and it works well. It remembers each monitor's settings you plug into. So, I have a 1920x1080 22" in my bedroom, placed to the left of the computer and slightly below, a 37" 1920x1080 placed to the right of the computer, a 1600x1200 with menu bars on it in my office, and a 800x600 projector as second screen. I just plug, and it remembers each of them, no need to fiddle with settings every time (as I need with windows 7).

I ride my bicycle to work, every single day. Used a simple mower activated by its own movement when I last had a lawn, and don't use charcoal, as it's forbidden here. Still there are some pricks making the smell of shit in the bathrooms look good, compared to the smell of old cigarettes left around.
I was thinking about this, as we have some hundred of those.
Then I remembered how crappy their "java desktop environment" is and how slow the whole thing is in general. Actually, it sucks hard.
You mean, like paying 800 dollars for a phone which may come for free? Have a look at how many buy free phones in here...
Are you talking about WoW?
Of course it does! At least the garmin unit...
could you tell us more about it? I've used dozens of macs and hackintoshes and NEVER had an issue with vlc.
latest version is a fail anyway. They removed most of what worked and stucked with h264. Tell that to your chinese media player right behind your tv.
It is a drunktypo. I meant astronomy.
And teach them the wonders of nature. Astrology, physics and biology comes to mind in a field trip.
Today with refrigeration? I eat raw sushi all the time.
Sushi is not pork. Let wikipedia explain it to you: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cysticercosis

Let's hope copyright law is reformed by the time brains are integrated into electronics.
There, fixed for you
It is not almost, but always. Ubuntu syncs with debian unstable every six months.

Wow, I never thought that someone would think that kde does not provide control enough.
Oh this is slashdot. Forget it.

Seriously, take a look at the developers' blog of the fonera. Besides, it's a 802.11n router.

Well, the maps application surely has street view on the iphone...
Just for the sake of curiosity, how was it implemented on the iphone?
Spotted some Pizza Hut in SOME versions of the game, while others had a generic ad. I preferred the real one.

Not the burn itself, but taking the body to there, certainly...
So that's what the guy meant when he said he did 3 activities in half an hour.
That's because the ad is from MS Poland. If not, it would be the black one the 3-activities guy.
It doesn't need to be ancient in Linux...
