Wow! You sure are awesome! You might not be aware of this but since you asked, I'll let you know. Most people DON'T in fact have 1,000 tabs open and scroll through them at 60 pages a second. Only you, cause you're so cool and awesome. Thanks for sharing.
But I noticed you accidently wrote at least one sentence that doesn't totally drip with contempt for this ruling. Please don't let this happen again - you know we/.ers don't know what opinions to have unless you spell it out for us.
When they say "funnest" I assume they mean "most fun," correct? I'm not a programmer but from what I understand, proper syntax can be important. When the site designers have gotten a better grasp of the English language, I'll trust their programming advice.
... and enjoy playing a game which, for a dollar, provides a bit of entertainment and a chance to dream about being a winner.

As a matter of fact, the US is still number 1 when it comes to percentage of world industrial output. By far. I'm surprised you think otherwise. from the UN:
"Currently, the largest share of world industrial output is held by the United States (23.3 percent), followed by Japan (18.2 percent) and Germany (7.4 percent). China ranks fourth with 6.9 percent."

And yet, the PS3 has not been cracked (at least, not publically) and yet one would assume it is a huge, fat target for anti-DRM people. Why is that? DRM in this case seems to work pretty well.
Does MS Word.doc format suck? Yes, it does. But you dont need it for the very few times you need to use it. Open Office handles.doc just fine for simple things like resumes.
Next time, just don't talk about games you've never played. It's just embarrassing.
That's not very nice.
Also, parent poster said, basically, PVP in MMORPGs is flawed because it takes into account things like level imbalance. You come back and say that Eve does not have any of those issues, but then you say
. Now, an older player has an advantage over a younger player. Give a younger player the biggest baddest ship he can fly against a seasoned pro in a less capable ship, the pro will come out ahead almost every time.
Sure sounds a lot like levels to me, except that your level is associated with time youve spent in game...
I'm not sure why you're so hostile to the idea of gamerscore. I've never payed attention to anything like that, but I can see how it might be fun. Perhaps the "point" is to enjoy competing with your friends in games which may not have a multiplayer element? It's not for me or you but the concept is essentially sound. Don't hate.
He says that 62 wpm is fast enough for the work he does. You counter with a wpm score which is much higher. What's the point? If you can think fast enough to productively code at 96 wpm, you've got a bigger epeen than just a high wpm score...
What it boils down to is that China makes the cheap crap that you buy for 50 cents. America makes the machines that make the 50 cent crap which sell for millions.
The USA had the world's largest industrial output, actually, as you can see in this article published by the http://ipsnews.net/news.asp?idnews=35402 United Nations
"Currently, the largest share of world industrial output is held by the United States (23.3 percent), followed by Japan (18.2 percent) and Germany (7.4 percent). China ranks fourth with 6.9 percent."
I don't call that "dead."
I cant believe everyone missed the point of why this sucks - any laptop you get this with will now be unreturnable for anything but manufactures defect.
next time, when you post this "funny" off-topic stuff can you not post at +2? It doesn't help auto filtering out all +funny when you havent been modded yet. Thanks.
I know that the word "hack" is cool, and now we have words like lifehack and hardhack. But what about this has anything to do with the "hack" part? Are we now reduced to using words just because theyre cool?

Your posts gain a lot more currency when you define your acronyms outright...

Actually, Chief Wiggum admits to seeing it in that episode, but backs down when everyone gives him dirty looks...
Chinese people overwhelmingly use arabic numerals in everyday use, just like everywhere else in the world...
No, that's not part of the definition of singularity at all.
That's what I do. Unfortunately, that means "funny" posts not even "funny" enough to get upmodded once, end up cluttering my views.

the word "hardhack" needs to crawl back where it came from. It adds nothing to the language that can't be said better in other ways.

It's comments like this I hate. Not funny enough to be rated +1 funny (and blocked from my view) and just contentless enough to annoy me.

I have an idea - get a job
