It would make more sense that there is some small, nearly undetectable property of matter that can only be expressed enough to be detected over the span of the universe. Who knows, the vacuum of space itself could have properties that causes these unexplainable phenomenons (just as Einstein had the insight to see it before). In fact the laws of physics themselves could oscillate to produce these effects. What I'm trying to get across is that it will take more imagination than "oh there must be a different type of matter there" in order to get to a more plausible theory.
That's mostly a problem for illegitimate companies. If you take a look the bulk of the spam that makes the major revenue (i.e. online pharmacies), you'll see that they rely on consistent spamming. Legitimate companies do not, and therefore the government will go a bit easy if there is a spammer out there that tries that. Without funds to go on, the spammer only wastes resources. Actually, it's more like going after gun dealers who don't go through standard procedures before selling a gun. If you held the companies responsible, believe me there would be more initiative to prevent spamming. That, and it's not tough to nail companies that ship a large amount of placebos and claim them to do things they don't.
I don't see why the government doesn't prosecute the companies that have their products spammed. They are the absolute root of all this. Without them, there wouldn't be any placebos to sell so that they can hire more spammers. There's got to be SOME way to get to them.

That is what really pisses me off, not the fact that it has been embedded in our biology. I understand aggression towards hostility. Just to clarify something here, guns aren't the only way to kill people easily. Explosives do a much better job, and you can't outlaw all the chemicals that you can use to make them because it would simply shut down the chemical industry. At least guns reduce the amount of collateral. I know you can't have a store robbery with a bomb, but store owners would still need a gun if a crackhead comes in with a machete. You'd be better off legalizing drugs to reduce crime than you would making guns illegal. The cash from theft and the cash from drugs are in two completely different leagues.

I do agree with your views on sex and nudity. I'll go even further to say that it is very wrong to live a promiscuous lifestyle (for which there are many reasons). But to impose your morals on someone else and restrict freedom is probably the greatest crime. The problem that people don't realize is that the law exists to keep a society running. Society then exists to keep morals themselves in check. Don't like what one society believes, then move. But distributing such judgment on a large scale wont let you move to stay happy. That's why I believe much more in state government. There should be some cities that allow drug use, nudism, etc. However, a system that allows political experimentation is a long way from happening with the whole of governments acting like some uptight monarchy. If I were more into politics than science, I would start some movement to have these restrained minorities unite on some website and plan to move in mass to desolate areas where their vote counts heavily. However that is one arduous process that I hope someone else takes on.

I'm not jumping to false conclusions, I was informing people that subliminal messages is a myth before they start posting about it.
