    In the SNL skit "Pepsi Syndrome" the manager sent in the black cleaning lady to mop up the reactor spill. President Carter came to inspect the damage. Both of them grew to 50' in height and ran off together.

    I've read most of the Neal Asher books published in the US. I look forward to new releases. Ian Tregillis's books Bitter Seed and The Coldest War are very good.

    Oh, this will probably have a half-life similar to intelligent design, monkeys too greedy to let go of the banana in the jar- creative works that they couldn't possibly produce by themselves. That hand is never going to let go of the revenue stream willingly. On the gripping hand, however, creative people now have many more tools to deliver their work directly to the customer.

    Creative music artists are at the mercy of the record companies..... The music industry would like to continue the cash stream, but actually paying the artists for their work is another matter.

    I just voted for a Massachusetts proposal for a constitutional amendment during our annual Town Meeting that would restore the First Amendment rights of citizens that Citizens United v.FEC has eroded. Too bad it will take a decade or two....

    The air museum in Pensacola is small but very interesting. My father was a field mechanic for Pratt & Whitney before he joined the Navy during WWII. Seeing the old radial engines probably brought back memories for him, though he ended up navigating C47s' in the Pacific.
