    There are multiple paths that lead back to feudalism and while everything you said is spot-on, it should be mentioned that, on average, you guys are quite a bit farther down your path than we are ours.

    By going baremetal, they're reducing complexity and eliminating most of the potential for what you're talking about. Also, I'm guessing this might be a realtime system, in which case tolerances will be even tighter and bugs would be more obvious and thus more likely to get identified.

    Clearly. What I find particularly infuriating, besides the obvious environmental impact, is the fact that it doesnâ(TM)t do the U.S. any good to address imbalanced auto tariffs in other markets if we arenâ(TM)t going to manufacture vehicles that they even want.

    Spare us the foolishness; anyone with a brain is aware of the history of collusion between mob-owned/controlled cab companies and the corrupt bureaucracies that tend to control city governments. Historically, it's been the same with trash-hauling and concrete.
