Anyone know of a game like command & conquer except with realistic tanks US/German/Soviet tanks?? Less game and more reality? Nothing turn-based please.
All the online trading companies want you to deposit several thousand dollars before they'll let you even buy 1 share at $8. Is there a way I can buy small amounts of stock without spending more than $500. Like using a credit card?
As a cable user, I sure as f-ck don't want a bunch of AOL leeches 'hitching a ride' on the cable network. The cable company had to build up the infrastructure, they should be allowed to reap the reward for their work.
There are many other ways to get high speed access besides cable. If AOL & friends want to get in to the high speed access industry they will have to build their own networks, just like everyone else.

Yes, Red Hat = Communist Conspiracy. We are everywhere. You cannot run you cannot hide. We will punish you with the four day work week and free hospitals. From each according to his command line, to each according to his GUI.
I'm sure they care. A lot! When 'big brother' finds out you've been eating potato chips, there will be trouble!
I was caught drinking an entire liter of pepsi once. The feds rushed in my house, pinned me against the wall, and tore out my tongue. Now I can no longer enjoy pepsi like I used to! Damn credit cards!
If we use a "gold standard" you have things like the Great Depression happen. It is easier to control inflation and so on when you aren't stuck to some arbitrary standard.
Also FreeBSD uses a "real" sh while Linux just uses a scaled down version of bash. The lack of bloat in FreeBSD's sh could give it an extra speed bonus.
I think they should have made it so nobody with less than say.... 100 employees/members/whatever could have their own.com.org.net domain. There could be a seperate tld like.home for personal home pages and that kind of junk. Then a domain name would actually mean something.
This is just one reason why we shuold encourage the freedom of anonymity. I have a feeling that those people who say that you must "stand behind your words" have never held an unpopular idea in their lives and/or their jobs involve crushing dissent. 'tis a shame.
Who cares if it is "open source" (which doesn't mean anything anyway, BSD or public domain software are the only types that are truly free and open) -- the important thing is that it runs well.
Maybe they should hire some more employees first. Even at the slowest hour of the day you have to wait at least 15 minutes at the checkout. I hate Home Depot. Unfortunately they have a near-monopoly here.

Okay, sounds good to me! hehe
LOL!
Good. Then you shouldn't mind if I store 3 tons of dynamite in my garage.

If it were licensed under the GPL or BSD I think there would be more people working on it.
Are you using Netscape or Internet Explorer?? Certain server softwares work better or worse with certain browsers.
Methinks ESR has been sippin' at ye olde Magic Cauldron too much. Why is ye floor spinning?

Why can't they just make www.aol.com/search -- that seems to make a lot more sense to me. Why do they need a seperate domain name for this??
Anti-capitalism is a GOOD thing! Put an end to one dollar = one vote

I thought the Pentium was named that because "586" was trademarked by another company!!??

That's a shame.. VA Research sounds much cooler.
I think they're too busy at the shooting range to sponsor a domain system right now.
I thought Mindcraft II was a computer game?? LOL!
Or just create a real login. It's free.
I hate Creative Labs.
