    To be fair, /. got the story up within 24 hours, which is actually faster than average for them.

    The company didn't announce their shutdown in advance, so nobody could have reported it before yesterday afternoon when the message went up on the site and all their social media shut down.

    Are you kidding? The FBI has been calling for backdoors to all encryption for more than ten years and Comey was still asking for them last August. They've never stopped.

    By the way, we suspect you of being a government employee posting on /. during work hours. We've got a subpoena that requires you to hand over your computer, cell phones, hard drives, passwords to any online accounts you use, etc.

    We're just checking if you're a government employee, of course, so your data will be completely safe with us and there is no chance that we'll use anything else we may find against you.

    You've confused "inefficient" with "impossible."

    Wireless charging at a distance can be done without violating any of the laws of physics. It just wastes a huge amount of energy.

    I made no such claim. I pointed out that communications with DHS fall under federal law, so Indiana law is not the only law that applies.

    You were the one who demanded I explain which laws were broken, implying that they were. Are you saying that you made that implication without any evidence to support it?

    Isn't it funny how strawman arguments can sometimes bite you in the ass?
