    This single story sums up CNN: Math is racist.

    With that single story a national of deplorables can trivially take CNN off the credible list. But that isn't the only story. Its been a barrage of bullshit for years and years now.

    You can easily find complete bullshit stories like this coming out of every single major news outlet, be it FOX, NBC, ABC, CBS, BBC, RT, and even PBS and NPR.

    Thats it. They have taken credibility off the table so all thats left is pushing paid-for narratives and personal biases. Its really as simple as that w.r.t. the media.

    You did know that Intel was the first semiconductor manufacturer to lie about feature size, right?

    ..or perhaps the Intel fanboys have convinced you that everyone but Intel is doing it? Intel fucking invented it 5 or 6 enerations ago. None of their 14nm chips have any feature that is even close to 14nm in size.

    I support free trade so long as the deck isnt stacked against us.

    What we have done is set up barriers to equal competition, stacked the deck. Environmental regulations that our "trade partners" dont have, labor laws that our "trade partners" dont have, and so on.

    China makes everything because they are willing to pollute more and artificially hold their currency low so that Chinese wages stay cheap. The deck is stacked against us. There are plenty of other south east asian countries and a few south american countries also willing to do the same.

    I suspect the Trump administration will be pro-encryption, anti-H1B, and seek out targeted trade deals that have strings attached (not "free trade.")
