My geek nature disapproves such torque-negating behavior. Instead, it totally wants to see the petabytes spin at some insane RPM, cancelling the gravity and possibly crushing some enemies.
1: discovered theres a new deus ex on slashdot 2: seen the trailer 3: OMG there is KILLING you are not meant to do that in DEUS EX. JCD would never do! 4: Oh god, he hurts people! 5: I have to be better, gotta do that without that ugly shooting! 6: *clicketyclick*
FYI, the "warmth" you describe is actually caused by vibration of internal components (mostly the grid in triode) which usually reflects the actual harmonic tones being played. When amplified, it gives the signal almost unhearable chorus-like effect.
The advice I give to everyone having trouble to get a 'whole project' running is to write a simple game. Like, say, something from Spectrum, or arkanoid, or a zombie pwning game. Nearly everyone started on it, it covers a pretty large amount of problems to solve, and it's fun to do.
I wonder why there's FINALLY in caps. I actually liked the feature, and after getting used to it I'd probably say it just seems more reasonable. (addresses just belong to the address bar right?).
Hope they will have a switch to bring back the old behavior.
Completely agreed. It would be nice to finally have some gray theme for long lone nights, probably easily switchable for anyone who already has this green-white fetish developed.
If I got it correctly, the bacteria can actually use CO2 from the air. Which is actually pretty nice, as we can finally have closed carbon cycle, if this _somehow_ _replaces_ fossil fuels.
I wanted to write you a reply from inside ReactOS, but it bluescreened in tcpip.sys.
Nevermind, ReactOS aplha is still roughly as stable as final-released windows. Hope they will be able to finish this someday, looks promising.
illumination flares?
he is alive, just not an editor for slashdot anymore
that makes a fate worse than death.
we are on internet, aren't we?
the sound of millions lazy sysadmins compaining!

...about the sound and torque generated when all these disks start to spin-up.

...but does it (still) run linux?
*sound of being arrested for riot-inducing comment on slashdot*

GOLD FARMERS!
anyways, this is good, bringing a little more green-ish stuff to the world counts. I hope more companies will do the same.
I always thought the flamewars were a part of UNIX specification.
Because, sir, assassination is too efficient. If you haven't noticed, common capitalist likes a full-scale war much better.

Zombies won't eat genetically modified brain when they can choose bio-friendly products.
Now you've invented that.
Peace Through Superior DDoS Power!
...because browsers don't support SSL-enabled virtualhosting yet?
....and thanks for all the zones.

Count of flying meat pieces usually seems pathetically low when compared to this game:

...the new slashdot censorship icon just isn't cool. Censored guy looks like having no emotions or so.
And well, I wanna see how this process will look like in Europe.

I'm kindof afraid that current oil producers will want this project disappeared&forgotten..
