Why not use volume? I think it would be a good addition. Anyone trying to NOT wake up their significant other, or a small child while watching TV has noticed this. The Volume for the commercials is much louder than that of the shows. Instead of all this bullshit about freedom of speech, they should prevent this under receiving stolen property. If all this information that's being published is "Secret" then it must have been STOLEN. If it wasn't stolen, but given away, then they need to tighten down on who handles the data and make it so it IS illegal for them to give out the data. So now you can prosecute the leaker under theft, and the publisher for receiving stolen property. And how do they know if it's stolen? If it's "Secret" and you have it, then it was STOLEN DAMNIT!

My experience though is that best buy has a comparably small amount of BS. Circuit city certainly has more, but the worse is at the small mom-pop shops. These little places are TERRIBLE! They can't compete on price, so they stay in business by selling old hardware at inflated prices. They must hire used car salesmen to push 2 year old hardware. Buyer beware.

Anyway, nice tips. I think this is more comfortable than the old way, so I'm going to get a few 2*4 blocks and raise the desk so the chair will fit under it. I've also noticed that my 3 monitors are not centered in front of me, but instead put where they maximize the desk space. Probably not the best config.

While I'm at it, I might move my computer out of my feet area, to the other side of the desk. It's not pretty there, but that will make me more comfortable too (and may be necessary because of the wires that are too short.

I think I'll get rid of this plastic carpet saver because it lets my chair roll around way to much.

Down here when you ask for a coke, you are asking for a "Coca Cola Classic, red can, headquartered in atlanta, made in every large city in the south" Up there I'd ask for a coke and there was no telling what they'd bring.

Oh yeah, and for all the COL threads. I compared Mobile incomine to LA... 43k here = 80k in LA. Whew. I love watching those shows on HGTV and laughing at those poor fools paying $500k+ for a 1200sq' house. $500k would get us 4k-6ksq' in town or a few hundred acres if we wanted to live in the country.
