What kind of car do you drive that has a clutch connected to the steering mechanism?
Seriously, I doubt you can park easier with a stick over an automatic. If you wanted more control on an auto, all you have to do is slighly hold down on the brake and give it a little gas to fine tune the movement.
If he has a ratings box on his system, then it will record that Taken was viewed by this user and thus increasing it's market penetration. At the same time, it was also being recorded by Tivo.
Sometime later, he then proceeded to watch Taken on his Tivo, fast forwarding commercials, which most are just ads for Sci-fi channel shows and everyone is happy.
- PDA [palm OS 5.0] - Cell phone - Keyboard - High speed internet access with flat rate data plan - Color screen - MP3 player - Memory expansion [ie Memory Stick, SD, etc] - Be able to clip to my belt
We are so close. The Kyocera 7135 is almost there, but lacks a mini keyboard. The Treo 300 is close too, but lacks an MP3 player and memory expansion slot.
I have been holding off on buying an MP3 player, one of those new phones that comes with games and even a snazzy new color pda. Unless I find everything all in one, I know it will just collect dust after the first month.
I remmeber the last computer tech thing I went to, similar to Comdex, absolutely sucked. People were walking around scurrying for free pens.
In fact, Novell was there (remember them?), and they were giving away free umbrellas. You can't imagine how many idiots were waiting in a line that wrapped at least 10 rows for some stupid umbrella.

Sounds like just about everyone else that I work with that can't seem to tie their own shoes without me showing them how to. Of course, in a week I have to train em again.
Any would they care if it ran on anything else but windows?
Before some linux fanatic mods me down, look at this. In the "Web Browsers Used To Access Google" graph, IE clearly dominates everything else.
This is from August, but I doubt anything has changed. Linux is only 1% of the OS used to access google. Even with it's own linux portal!
I'm a big fan of linux. My websites use linux. My firewall is linux. My Tivo is linux! However, if you think that companies will try to build a web application that only 1% of population will ever see, then you're misinformed.
This would effectively reduce the shipping distance between Europe and Asia by 6800 miles compared to the route using the Panama canal....the country of Panama has allocated 3 billion dollars to developing a gigantic freeze ray.
Only on/. would someone make a pipe cleaner into a helix;-)
My cat can fetch too, but she gets a penny. Check it out [pics too]
I had an idea for a cool project..

basically hook up two wireless network cameras that would point to the street outside my house.
They would run motion detection software that would basically write to a database when it detected movement. By measuring the time between the two motion captures and knowing the difference in length between the cameras, I could calculate how fast people drive by my house.
By going to my homepage, you would see something like: Last car went by at: 07:05:30 am It was going 38.9mph. 3.9 over the speed limit!
Anyways, until the price of wireless network cams come down, I guess it's just a thought.

Duh, xmas was the day before.
.. probably not just a coincidence that Eve was born on Christmas. Probably also not a coincidence that she was named Eve...
I wonder if the birth date and name were a part of the contract that the parents had to sign?

Oops, this isn't a poll, so please remove the insensitive clod from the statement above.

I am proud to be a citizen of the social-democractic country we call Canada.
Ahh... nevermind.

Osam Bin Spammer must die! Release the predator drones!
Remarkably, nuclear detonations are not a good option, as they would break the asteroid into many pieces and merely increase our odds of being hit.
If tomorrow's headline was "Football field size asteroid set to hit Earth in 3 days", you know that we would be hurling ever nuke we have at it.
He spent perhaps 15 seconds doing so

Maybe he was really keeping an eye on that shady geeky looking guy standing there watching his Segway.
If it can balance, why not make it go 50 miles an hour?
Duh, where would you put the whale tale and type r sticker? No point on having it going 50mph if you can't look like you're going 50 at a red light.

Rename the shell icon to "porn paradise" and I'm sure they'll master linux in a few hours.

Go back to playing GTA and leave the big words for the grown ups.
The truth hurts I guess. Maybe you should get a life and not worry so much about the proliferation of linux.
