Moding your cell phone, AND using their network would be illegal, in fact, going to Radio Shack and building your own cell phone from scratch and using their network, without permission would be just as illegal. Many people do mod cell their cell phones and mimic other cell phones to avoid paying. It is clearly illegal. However, moding your cell phone, and using it as a Linux server would not be illegal, as long as you stayed off thier network.

someone is cybersquatting on that name,

Another tip I have is I keep an eight page version of my resume that has an extesive description of every job I have had, along with phone numbers of contacts. When I start a job search I add my current info and then cut and paste a realvant resume.

Most of these do not pay anything, but you do get to go to the post election party and you will become familar with the other offices available. Finally if you are motivated by money and are not willing to break the law for it, then political office is probably not for you. (but then again neither is teaching children, nursing, being a judge [good money but not as much as a corprate or private lawyer], coaching, or being a fireman, but most of those jobs are filled with people who could make more money if they wanted) Mark

  21. Voting for 3rd parties on Messages From Democracy's Ghosts · · Score: 1

Two points about voting for 3rd parties.

First: Its been said 'Why vote for someone that has no chance of winning?' - well if enough people vote for those canidates this year, in four years maybe they will be perceived as having a chance of winning. A 3rd party is probably going to have to break the 5% threshold before they break the 25%. If you make any one of the 3rd parties closer to 5% then you are not wasting your vote, you are simply making a long term investment.

Second: If you vote for one of the two major parties. Your voice is one in millions. If you find a 3rd party that you like, you voice becomes one in thousands! It seems to me that that would make it more valuable.

Finally: I vote Libertarian, because I like their ideas and I want to give them my voice. But if they ever become a serious contender I will definatly reconsider who I am voting for.

It also sweeps through new communities where the old cod could not exist. Here now information is finding its way into other areas that had never help information before. That does not imply that there is not limit to its reaches. Eventually the cod fills all the oceans, seas, rivers and lakes. but it is still water based. A later improvement of the cod will be required to conqure land. Another example would be the African Bee in North America. It is spreading realtivly unchecked. But it will never make it to the point that it is everywhere.
