  1. Re:Less editorialization please on Windows Phone 7 Sales Continue To Struggle · · Score: 1

When Android launched there was no such thing as an Android phone beforehand. Same with the iPhone. This is Windows Phone 7. While it may look different Windows mobile isn't a new platform and MS isn't new to mobile phones.

But it is that past history that, imo, holds the phone back. People have too many bad experiences with Windows Mobile or even Windows desktops and hold that against the phone. Quite frankly I think the new interface is fucking awful. Maybe MS thinks it's cool to make nothing fit the screen but it looks dumb to me and seems like a lazy solution to dealing with multiple resolutions.

All companies who employ employees in any state do help contribute towards that state's taxes. However if that company uses that state's service more (ie roads, etc) then yes the company should pay more. The employee's income tax shouldn't cover the company's wear and tear on the roads.

Salaried or not, take your free time and get away from the computer and do something physical and fun. Eat better too. Junk food is nice sometimes but eating better will have an effect on how you feel and as always get a decent sleep.

My biggest problem was drinking coffee through out the day even minutes before bed while staying up late. I was getting very little sleep. That really drains you (or me at least).

  11. You can't place one species against another on Oxford Scientists Say Dogs Are Smarter Than Cats · · Score: 1

Like humans dogs and cats' intelligence vary so much and the trainer will make a difference too. I've had cats that use the toilet, know how to open doors via the knobs and how to open under the counter refrigerators (luckily they lacked the strength). I've had dogs of equal intelligence. I've had both cats and dogs that struggled with basic concepts like how doors work.

From my experience cats are more intelligent but they're arrogant and certainly don't try to please you in any way because they don't have to. Dog's generally, form my experience, aren't as intelligent but work their ass off to please you and want to be involved with you in anyway. So they can appear more intelligent because they'll put more effort into doing what you want even if they fail at it. A cat will just think fuck you and feed me.

With a lot of thing I would agree. But that doesn't mean kids are more worthy of not being felt up. If someone, of any age, doesn't like it then it shouldn't be done. In a more extreme example you wouldn't say that it's ok to rape an adult. Some people will feel violated when getting felt up. If it's not necessary then it shouldn't be done and I don't think the TSA needs to be feeling up people.

On my last flight (this autumn) I was fine with it just as I've been fine with body scans but I can understand why some people wouldn't be.

I don't want to see Japan knocking boring shit like Halo year after year. If they feel they're not doing as well it will because they're getting less imaginative and lowering standards just like western developers.
