    So ... other than the "cloud" falacy ... ever strike you that Microsoft sued a bunch of OEM's? And maybe it was due to their use of exFAT/Fat32 on the SDcard? Yeah. Well. Think about it.

    If they don't format the /sdcard partition in a Microsoft FS but may you use Android Transfer or as an MTP device ...then OEM's and Google don't have to pay Microsoft a dime. heh.

There busses, Caltrain and BART already ... instead of these corps. helping to make public transit even better they are opting out of paying their fair share and spending it on MORE busses that only their employees can ride ... which clog the streets even more. I pass a bunch of them each morning on my ride in. *shrug*

    It's the same with targeting Android 4.0.x as the baseline. You will hit 75% of the Android market. There are some folks who just use their phone to talk and text ... Android 2.2.x will do that until their phones break so they will not upgrade until they have to. Folks need to stop whining about fragmentation and target the majority because most of those "good enough" phones with 2.2.x on them will just be around ... it's not like they can be revoked or have a newer version that's crippled. It is what it is.

I would say liberals do not care one whit about churches helping the public but when conservatives cut off funding for things religious folks don't like yet give churches tax exemptions or funding FROM said state then we get a little testy.

    YOU do not understand what the separation of church and state argument is even about but feel free to comment on it as if you do. heh.

    And UP there in Canada YOU have a national religion. YOU have national languages (or did you not notice everything is in French and English) ... UP in Canada your laws are different because you are still part of the commonwealth ... we however are not. Just is what it is, eh?

    OK. This is just stupid. The last release of Lindows (stupid friggin name) was "6.0 / October 10, 2007" ... so 5 years on we should all just throw our hands up and say that it was tried and it can't work again. Seriously? You REALLY believe that. If you do then step aside and keep quiet. I've installed Linux for several people who are still happily using it. Were they afraid to install it? Yes. Did they need a bit of help? Yes. Did they run screaming from the UI .. NOT EVEN close.

    Wrong, the APP and framework Apple is building into iOS 6 does this because it will now have the ability to put such data from Apple's new backend provider .. TomTom. Apple WROTE the app in iOS and Google provided the data. They are simply getting a better price from TomTom and putting a better APP in iOS. So yeah .. it is what it is but it isn't what you say.

    Linux never "pretended to be" because it is .. just as much as BSD. What it DID not do was get a license bought and fees paid in order to call itself UNIX. Solaris did. HP-UX did. OSX did. It's a hold over from NeXTStep having been UNIX but please .. do not talk about things you do not understand.

    OS X is about as GUI a system and as simple as anything has been so far ... BUT it still has a terminal.     I've been running ICS on my Galaxy Nexus since 9:10AM 12/15/11 ... NEVER have I had an issue with Wifi.

    This is absolutely Sony's fault. The hardware THEY choose to use has drivers and should have been tested. It was not. I know quit a few folks who have ICS on various models and it works fine.

    Sony chose the chipset maker. Sony put together the ROM. Sony sold the phone. It's Sony's problem. Maybe if Sony .. like many others would take the resources they put toward their UI overlays and ACTUALLY put them towards make a decent, supportable product then things would be fine. I mean seriously .. AOSP GAVE them the tools and the OS .. the rest is up to them. It is neither Google nor Android's fault that the cobbler (Sony) fucked up the product.

    This is not Googles fault nor Android's fault but Sony's fault. PERIOD. End of story .. that's all she wrote.

    YOU have no clue what you are talking about. With the exception of a few proprietary packages which are solely related to CDMA auth on VZW's network .. the AOSP is absolutely open source .. you can download all of it so there for it is OPEN source.

    Not sure about your methods but you do spew madness and a bit of stupidity.
