I used to do extremophile research. I can chip in a little knowledge about microbial research to neutralize some of this sensationalism
Ribosomal RNA sequences are often the basis for speciation in biology. And while the human and ape species may be less than 1 percent difference, they are described to be different species. The full genomic DNA seqs may have more difference. With microbes, the rRNA threshold for a different species is 13%. There are species of E.coli that have 50% less genomic DNA (meaning beyond 50% different since they already are missing half), that are called E.coli because the rRNA is not varied enough (less than 13% different).
My point is that in the world of microbes, and furthermore extremophiles, a 5% difference is not much. That may be a sensational news point. I persnally genetically identified several organisms from the Boiling Springs Lake Microbial Observatory (65-95 deg C, pH 1.7) that were 11-12.7% different than previously described species....
You should be one of those scumbag corporate lawyers if you aren't already. You've got the twisting of words, expanding of grey area, and the deniability of intent down pat!
You should check vgchartz sometime for a taste of reality.
Vgchartz will demonstrate:
1) game to console ratio on Wii is far lower than the other 2 (casual gamers don't game much, so it makes sense).
2) few games on the Wii get anywhere close to 1 million sales while a dozen or so have millions. That dozen is your list (please don't bother nitpicking some minor imperfection in this point).
There is a lot to learn about the global and national ways that 'gaming' goes on. Trends of many facets can easily be illustrated. For your entertainment, follow the ps3 vs 360 system sales, but attempt to visualize the fail rates, and you will see why the attach rates (game to console) on the ps3 have been much higher..... ps3 sales only passed 360 sales a bit over a year ago, but way more of the 360 sales are replacements for broken ones, and no new games are bought (same gamer). Thus, functional ps3s IN USE may actually have been a majority over 2.5 years ago.
But in the next mario, he has a puppy! you're not a brainwashed throwback-pretentious hipster if that gimmick isn't enough to make you beg to hear ole Mario say "lets-a-go" one more time!!!
Let me go grab my oversized glasses (so the SD looks its best), my PBR so I can call it a party, and my trst fund so I have plenty of time to spend reminiscing, contemplating, and focusing on masquerading as a mature productive adult.
Please forgive my imperfect demeanor when I use a smartphone. I hardly even spellcheck, let alone utilize special characters, else it would be the 5 minute hassle that *this*post has become.
When government acts and hides its actions from its citizens, is when that government is not Democratic.
Land of self justified intelligence operations, like before the Intel Oversight Act of 1974, which mattered for a good 25 years and is now regularly ignored thanks to out governmental failure to do its job.
Word to the offended: Don't buy a gun, you cant win that even in your wildest dreams. And gold is for stupid people from 2000 years ago. Inform your peers, resist with peace, and call for a new way. Iceland just pulled off a constitution, bank, and politician, reboot ---- peacefully. The reason the last thing you heard about Iceland was bankruptcy 3 years ago is because a peaceful revolution of the people was happening and corporate media fears pure democracy and its examples when visible.
Don't forget that 500k only seems like a lot to a individual. 500k to the 7th largest economy in the world (go Cali!) is negligible.
In perspective: Thats the cost of 7 (maybe less) UC bachelors degrees.
On the national news scale... 12 million on DOJ muffins? Negligible. 300 BILLION on a new fighter jet when we already rock. 100:1 DR? Absurd.... and yet thatsnot as newsworthy as muffins....
I think you missed some required reading on the china solar panel antitrust debacle. This specific product markedt was heavily 'dumped' deliberately to crush the US producers. Your post assumes the panels are only part of a greater scheme, not specific/deliberate to the solar panel market. The references came out months ago on slashdot on the "solara goes bankrupt" post where lotsof people like you assumed the ame as you are right now.
But just because you think society is too accepting over noise levels that do not harm others, you cannot possibly be right in accepting abusive police practices. Maybe I don't like harmless things you do, but I would never condone a police officer wrongfully encroaching your life over it. Get a grip: your personal belief in an exhaust you haven't even personally experienced, has driven you to support immoral police activity. Wth!
I think you missed the required reading about how it was not simply the cheaper general production in China, but rather massive deliberate subsidy by China to facilitate the anti-trust act called 'Dumping' to drive competing manufacturers out of business...
It was legal. What you are condoning for your convenience is the abuse of citizens that are diligent law abiders for personal reasons. Please don't be so brash.
Go repeat that to the person you were talking about that topic with. My first post in this thread was a reply to the user KHallow, and my post set the context of the discussion I was having. You chimed in with offtopic replies, etc. Go reread it... its laughable watching it end with your 'i repeat' assertion.
I do stemcell research for a major lab. mRNA based cell reprogramming.

Biomedical research doctors wouldn't know? And regular physicians wouldn't have a grasp on the relevant data?
The consensus is that 70% of medical costs in the US can be attributed to tobacco use.
I trust qualified estimations and knowledge far more than a slashdot poster with bad assumptions.
You should ask doctors if your thoughts on the cosys of smoking are real.
The answer to your first question is ISP. They charge you, you pay. pretty simple really.
Wtf are the taxes for?
Mod up!

Lmao. It's extremely comical how your list of examples is also the exact same list of "The ONLY games worth playing on the Wii."
Fanboys are hilarious. I will wait for you to wrongly accuse me of being a 13 year old call of duty player.

Its not like this article is any more inaccurate than any other report they make.
It's entertainment, not news... which was their own admission, and was agreed upon by the supreme court, re:monsanto posilac.
Only idiots think its news.
Apples to apples.
If you have a degree, most countries will gladly take you. I've dug into it. They have lists... no degree means maybe not...

This work hs been going on in an adacent lab for a while now.... very promising to hear results like that.

Frikkin smartphones....
It should say "...rock a 100:1 KDR..." thats kill to death ratio for non gamers...
