Just don't call it a Web OS because it's not an OS, it's just a desktop or window manager. Xenon is a fine (in-development) example of this which explains the concepts.
The cloud does not interact with the computer, it needs a layer such as the browser, networking stack, and kernel. So, "web desktop" would seem to be correct.
Security is a complete joke. Especially software security. You can get into any computer with access. Unless you encrypt emails and all that nonsense with huge private public key pairs, it's no good.
It's so easy to send an email from anyone to anyone else. SMTP is a complete joke.
That may apply in silly software selling but most people understand if I say "I have a PC". Yes, it's a big box with an unspecified system on it. It's silly nowadays to assume a system at all. There are so many of the damn things. See "Having the right terminology" for details.
Yep their games rom back then were great, and dare I say it, their OSes. Now they severely screwed up their company by suing everyone in sight and making their stuff crap. Me no like.
Does it matter how funky the system is? Not that Ubuntu is un-funky, it's the imagination that funkifies it.

What, you can do that now? Why didn't anybody TELL me this??!
"I have a headache."
"Here, have this. It's a placebo"

And Proud.
I download FOSS and CC Music from Torrents!
So does all this stuff only happen in America? Because if you hadn't have mentioned it, I wouldn't have known it was going on.
I'm a Brit, by the way, pip pip.
Hey hey, only some of it is a joke. SMTP is, hardware encryption isn't. WEP and WPA is, private-public key pairs aren't. See? I'm reasonable.

What if you stick one on? And PCs to most people are x86 compatibles. But PCs are really personal computers, which is most of them. So... who's right?
Yeah. Macs ARE PCs. Call it by its OS not its platform, fools! I've got a PC but things advertised as "for PC" sometimes don't work!
So is this a new way to crack the handshake once you've got it or is it to hack straight in?
I herd u liek browser. Tis MINE NAO! Im in ur b0x0rz stealin ur keystrokes! All your cardz are belong to us!
This message means your browser has been exploited with a known hole causing black hat crackers to receive what you type!
Wow, that could easily explain it. I'm gonna have to try.
I've got less of the physical, more of the social pain usually.
LAAASERRRRSSS! Choow choow pew pew! But nooooo! They had to put puny ones in, didn't they? Harrumph.

Sounds great. I can't wait for Qt.

Use wireshark to hunt down your network from your router or via airtun (in aircrack) to scan the network from a computer.
Q: How do I tell if my computer is part of a botnet?
A: If it's got Windows on it, it is.
Pulse is dead. You can just use alsa, which is as low level as you can get.

Damn, Jim. My communicator's out of power? Where's the bucket of muck?
