If you're having any doubts, the Nook Color can be rooted to become an Android tablet, and have the Kindle for Android app installed. That means the device you have could still be used that way, if you were so inclined.
Personally, I've been using Kindle on my iPhone, and have collected a library of about 125 books already - so I understand if you've got a Nook library already and wouldn't want to switch!
4 feet divided by three converted to metric:
4 feet * 12 inches/foot * 2.5 cm/inch = 120 cm
How hard is it to divide 120 by 3? You have a 120 cm sheet with studs every 40 cm.
Also, how big are your "two by fours"? Because they aren't two inches by four inches. If you've got names for things that don't fit, you have no reason to hold onto the old measurement system.
I was under the impression that you were able to do this, as long as the eBook doesn't have DRM. I don't recall what formats it supports, but, if there's no DRM, then you can convert it to a format that is supported. I know the Kindle app for iPhone supports.mobi formatted files now. The downside is that you have to sync them with iTunes, and your bookmarks and "last page read" aren't synced to Amazon and back to other devices.
As for an actual Kindle, I know you can at least email "Word and picture files" to it, for a small fee. Alternatively, I believe you're able to copy things to it over USB.
In the world of tomorrow!...music file sharing sites would just be pages and pages of correct MD5 hashes with a hacked client, so you could "upload" a file without getting anywhere near the MP3.
Apparently you don't even need Premium. According to their Get Spotify page, you can "Take your music abroad" with the Unlimited plan for £4.99 (~$8) per month. Still a good share more than Pandora, at $3 per month, on a yearly basis. But apparently Spotify gives you better control over your music - you can actually pick songs! Instead of just waiting for them to come up on your radio station.
Except that I'm typing this on an iMac11,3 and I have a MacBookPro2,1 at home, as well as a MacPro3,1. Those aren't version numbers though, are they? Of course, these aren't printed on the devices themselves, but are in the System Profiler (think Device Manager plus System Properties). Nonetheless, there are version numbers.
They probably set the price for books sold through the iBooks app, but they don't set the price for books sold through amazon.com. But they are regulating that if you have a book reader app (Kindle for iProducts, Nook for iProducts), then you have to sell your books through the app as well. I can understand how this would perhaps help to provide a more consistent user experience, rather than going through a mobile website (like for Kindle book purchases).
However, requiring the purchase to go through Apple when buying through the app is retarded...If Amazon does increase their prices via the app and not their site, I won't be put out by continuing to purchase from their site. Especially since I wouldn't get my 3% cash back on my Amazon Visa card if I bought through the app. This also might make my decision between an iPad and a Kindle a lot easier, aside from the price difference.

Why do we have the Idle compose boxes everywhere now? I understand that it is resizable, but it's retarded not to have it stretch to screen... /end rant
New service! If you're willing to pay the $250 "enjoyment" fee when you fly our airlines, you can have a much more pleasurable security experience, with one of the trained professionals examining you! (I wonder if there is a photo directory that you pick your "trained professional" from?)
There have been a few times that I have considered switching my iPhone to the 200 MB/month plan, honestly. Since getting my iPhone in Sept 09, I haven't used more than 140 MB in a single month. Mostly because where I live and work and play are all saturated with WiFi, and there isn't 3G where I live, just where I work. But, as I got in on the unlimited data plan before they removed that, I've been hesitant to abandon that gravy boat, in case 3G becomes more readily available, or I find an app I can't live without. (Also, it becomes less important to switch as I get closer and closer to switching to Verizon.)
The advantages of a game (time) card:
You don't need a credit card to keep a subscription active, once the time on the card is up, it's up, no accidental fees.
You can give it as a gift to someone else.
Typically they are priced at the one-month-at-a-time MMO price ($15/mo for WoW, $30 for 2 months on a game card). If the store has a sale, you can get it cheaper than the six-month-at-a-time price ($13/mo @ 6 months). I recall seeing sales that let you pick up two 60 day WoW cards for about $40-$45, which would put it at about $10-$11 a month.
Changing road conditions? Don't you mean unchanging tunnel conditions? If humankind gets technology to the point that all travel can be automated, then subterranean will be the way to go, as you don't have to worry about flow rates or disruptions caused by accidents.
No. You have to wear a fake mustache over your real one. Or you can put it over your eyebrows and make a unibrow. Your choice.
...Actually I changed my mind, it's not your choice. Wear a fake fu manchu mustache over your eyebrows.
If there wasn't internet, and very few PCs, then yes, a LOT has changed since you were in school!

I can't believe this hasn't been posted yet...

Am I the only one that thought it was funny that they developed this at CAU? CAU is producing human-like milk!
No no no, you wouldn't fear a pointed stick...you'd fear the fruit fucker! Seriously, that thing is creepy...

No, because if there is no one to see it, then the developer doesn't have anyone to accept the offer, so (s)he hasn't distributed it!
Next moral dilemma, please!

"And if they get two upgrades in one (browser and OS) then they are winning!."
Actually, that was the perfect time to say "they are BI-winning!"
I didn't know the RIAA has put out studies on file sharing!
...
I thought they only did studies on PIRACY PIRACY PIRACY, YARRRR!
Also, you can get a Mac Pro with OS X Server on it. Which basically means they took the rails off the XServe, right?
You can do a lot with your lapdogs you can't do with your allies.
Does this involve peanut butter?
[BSG] This has all happened before, and will all happen again...
That "whooshing" sound over your head is the /sarcasm tag that was implied in the GP.

If they are over 9000 (*sigh*) years old
Really not sure why you are sighing
I'm guessing that it's a sigh related to the meme of [POWER LEVEL] OVER 9000!!!!!11!!!!
