I'm not enabling the ability to see ads for the sake of bitcoins when doing so is a potential avenue for malware.
You want to vet the advertisers and take on full liability in case of wrongdoing then maybe I'll consider it.
At least one of the systems I've owned in the past required a jumper to be set before BIOS could be written to/flashed/modified.
I thought that was a boon and would certainly defeat any nefarious flashing. Something like that should be standard.
Exactly. The same could be said in regards to private Facebook profiles. Nothing stops someone that is part of the private group to make available anything that they see to others not in the group. eg., Save the page, the text, pictures, screenshot it, etc.
I have Comcast myself.
What I find odd is that Netflix runs perfectly fine for me on both laptop and phone but Comcast's own xfinitytv streaming is a barrage of jitter and pauses.(Wired laptop, wireless phone)
It makes no sense.
Reading the summary I thought that was a seriously odd name for the bill, as well.
It's nonsensical.
If the sole purpose of the bill were to flat out outlaw smartphones then it's an apt name, but that's not the spirit of the bill so it's a dumb name altogether.
I just brought Slashdot up on my phone (Sprint Galaxy S3) and it popped right up without any issues.
No performance or formatting problems that I could see in either Chrome or Firefox./shrug
I won't pretend to know how they do it either but even if that were the case it would still show that tower ID in a different location from where the valid one is.
eg., The map would show tower 00699 499m away at -72dBm but at some point before or after would show tower 00699 (the real one) 742m away at -65dBm.
That certainly wouldn't jive for a static tower to have been in two different places.
I have an app on my Android phone that logs cell tower locations and plots them on a map.
I wonder if this Stingray device's ID would show up in multiple locations whenever it's moved. If so, that in itself would give it away in places that it's being used.
I started playing EverQuest in 2000 and still play to this day regularly raiding in one of the top guilds. Why? Because I enjoy it and that's the important part.
Granted it's the only game I play (MMO or otherwise) but I just can't get into others, especially since I've become so accustomed to my EQ char over the last 13 years.
Agreed on it not taking advantage of space on the left and right, rather wasting it.
I went to my graphics settings and rotated the display 90 degrees and it actually looked perfect that way. But alas, we don't read that way normally.
Knives bought at any store that sells knives occasionally end up in the wrong hands, too.
so knock yourself out, Reddit.
I honestly couldn't care less what Bank of America thinks about anything at all.

http://pfsense.org/ is one such option.
Where do I claim my million dollars?
This is just so astoundingly absurd on so many levels I'm at a loss for words.
Delete the info but publish the requests?

The entire concept is stupid. Screenshots.

The B-52 completed fifty years of continuous service ... it is expected to serve into the 2040s.
At least they must be doing something right.
How To Turn A Key 101. In seriousness I was wondering the same thing.
Windows XP has been out for 12 years and they just started to look into the problem last month?
I'm not a diver but don't they use Helium/mix of Helium(?) when diving for certain circumstances also?
My sentiments exactly.
Or alternatively [Start], charmap in the run box, Enter key.
If I understand correctly you want to initiate the score filter? On m.slashdot.org it's the gear to the right of the [All] [Outstanding] [Funny] tabs.

Instead of the ads being intrusive they'll probably just project them as a 3D hologram on the roof of your car so everyone can see them.
