    Swedish tanks FTW... My 1985 Volvo 240GL was rear-ended by a Holden Vectra (brand new, literally just driven off the lot). The Holden was written off. I couldn't even find any (new) scratches on my rear bumper, and there were some flecks of their paint on my tow-bar.

    I think you're going about it the wrong way... Take a step back technologically.

    There are plenty of books out there older than 25 years old... so print out the (binary, hex dump, 1's and 0's) onto paper and store them somewhere where they will survive.

    Hell, even that's too tech... engrave the above into stone and make the Long Now Foundation proud.

    p.s. Don't mod this funny. I'm not joking. There is no guarantee that any media that plugs into a computer will be easily accessible in 25 years time, but you can damn well guarantee that they will still have scanners, and that their OCR software will have improved since then.

    Yeah, well, it puts the onus on the buyer to not be an idiot. Boo hoo.

    If somebody offers me a 2 year old Porsche 911 for $20K, I'd probably book a meeting, but have a "mechanic" friend of mine come to take a look at it (just don't pay attention to the fact that he's a cop). There's no way in hell I'm going to risk going to jail for a few years for receiving stolen goods just to save a few bucks.

    Oh, and there's a saying that's been around for a while... "Caveat Emptor".

    The only problem is with all the scorch marks it will look like crap. Maybe they should call it the iSore instead?

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but I distinctly remember an advertisement for a Wii game that was a swordfighting game (can't remember if it was samurai or ninja flavoured). Also, IIRC, it was one of the earliest games on the Wii.

    As an Australian, I am getting the 'banned' version of the game imported (and getting the lunchbox and the bobble-head as a bonus). Remember, the ban, as I understand it, was on that particular version of the game being sold by Australian retailers. This is just another example of the classification board not keeping up with what the rest of the world is doing. With the advent of e-commerce and bit-torrent, the average 15-year old kid (which the ban is meant to protect) with any job in a supermarket can afford this option. And I'm older than 18. I don't need you to protect me thank you very much.

    Sure, there are plenty of software virii that can infect machines running Microsoft Windows...

    The question you have to answer, is did the employees actions harm the company in a non-trivial manner? I assume the answer is no. There are many things users do that waste time, most of which are trivial and do not actively cost the company money.
