"Infrared light is invisible and therefore does not have colors that can be perceived by the human eye. The colors in the image are assigned comparatively short, medium, and long, near-infrared wavelengths (blue, 1.05 microns; green, 1.25 microns; red, 1.6 microns). The representation is "natural" in that blue objects look blue and red objects look red. The faintest objects are about one-billionth as bright as can be seen with the naked eye."
It seems to me that they are quite capable of making new products and contributing new ideas, so why do they not do so? Why are there repeated examples of this sort of blatant copying? Can anyone clue me in here?
Mao happened between then and now. When you have a monolithic culture where standing out gets you beat down, and it's easier to just copy something than come up with something new, you get crap like this.
Now, if you want to say that the American military had its head up its ass that fateful morning, you'll find support from most historians. But to make the claim that no one expected an attack is simply absurd.
No one was expecting an attack that day. But they were supposed to be on alert. Granted, this was from the movie, but leaving planes out on the airfield and lots of shore leave for the sailors on the ships docked at Pearl Harbor is not what I'd call being on alert. Fortunately for the U.S., only the battleships were in port. I don't think that the U.S. could have been as successful in the Pacific if it had lost carriers during this attack.
That happened in a company I worked for in 2000. They announced lay offs because "there may be a recession coming." Exact words from HR. I thought it was ridiculous, but I was leaving anyway.
Seven pages to tell us that they're pretty much the same? And Chrome's power management sucks? I'm wondering why they didn't do a Windows test, too. I thought that would be a requirement in these types of tests.
I don't think RealAudio liked what he was saying to do. This was before Podcasts. He basically told some of his listeners that they could "copy" his streaming audio with a software tool so they could listen later on an MP3 player. This might have been around 2001, but my memory is crap.
Right. A failure of this system is not an issue of safety, just of horrible, horrible inconvenience.
You obviously don't live in this area. When anything like this happens, road rage incidents skyrocket. Maryland has some of the worst drivers I've ever seen. And Maryland doesn't require that drivers use turn signals. I hate driving through there, especially on the highways. The posted speed limit is 55, but I get about 20% of the drivers blowing by me at over 80. Montgomery and Prince George's County are the worst of the bunch.
Fairfax County is in cahoots with the oil companies to make us burn more gas waiting for the lights to turn green. They also work for brake pad manufacturers, who make a fortune from people who have to slam on the brakes from 55 mph while driving on the Fairfax County Parkway. I hate driving through there at any time, but it's worse during rush hour since every moron is out driving and won't maintain the speed limit.
Seriously. The next book is already written, WTH is taking so long to publish it? And now a TV series? Finish the books! You can milk the merchandising later. Sheesh!
And what exactly crewed the original ship? I thought, after the AvP movies, that the original ship was the Predator ship that had the bizarro Alien/Predator hybrid. That would kind of make sense, but I would think that the Predators cohorts would have hunted it down and killed off the critters in that ship.
You've obviously never played a real FPS. Halo, Half-Life, Quake, all require figuring out how to get through the level you're on. It is conceivable that you can just shoot your way through a level, but you'll have to go through the level multiple times before you finish it. TFP.
No, that would be a flying douchebag.

Use buck shot next time. No bounce backs from the printer that way.
Do you think Microsoft doesn't have any sort of internal code and bug tracking system?
Sometimes I wonder...

Hold up.
OS = Operating System
DOS = Disk Operating System
All an operating system does is get the computer going. All the rest of the stuff you are mentioning is fluff.
Seven pages to tell us that they're pretty much the same? And Chrome's power management sucks? I'm wondering why they didn't do a Windows test, too. I thought that would be a requirement in these types of tests.
MP3s vs. 1 Man Bands
Twitter vs. Bathroom Walls
Science vs. Alchemy
Fixed that for ya

Didn't Leo of TechTV do something like this using RealAudio back in the day?
You're a stinkin' developer, aren't you?
Have you tried Google Themes? If you have a Google Mail account, you can get themes every time you open up google.com.
Like Vietnam or Iraq wars. They are part of bad history. Ou, wait, it is not related to USSR or Russia?
North Vietnam: Former Soviet Puppet
Iraq: Former Soviet Ally
Nazi Germany: Former Soviet Ally
Because Canada is the 51st state. Not to mention America's hat.

that the game that came out a few years ago was Tron 2. Am I missing something?

They have problems with people trying to get INTO India? I thought everyone wanted to get out!
but there is NO USB PORT ON THIS BOX!!!!!! And since it's an 8-bit machine, it only has 8-bit ISA ports.
Tienanmen Square comes to mind.
