$50 show? Yeah, you have not been to Vegas in awhile. I moved here about 6 months ago, and unless you are going to a small concert somewhere, expect all shows to be a minimum of $100. They are normally in the price range of $125 to $200

When the correct sequence of buttons was pushed, the machine displayed false double jackpots. No casino officials noticed because the bogus jackpots weren't being recorded in the machine's internal system.

I am unsure if you read the entire article. They did use some type of 'debug' to ensure winnings. It says in the article that the person would hit a combination of buttons to win. It is like the 4,2,3,1 trick on soda machines to get into the debug menu for them. If I got caught hopping into the debug menu for a soda machine to cash it out, that is illegal. If I get into the debug menu for a soda machine and change the price of everything to 25 cents, that is illegal. It is tampering with the system. These guys hit a combination of buttons to do the same. They were tampering.

See, you are already starting to get pissed at that kind of person. It's cool, I had to deal with one person who was really bad at it at my last job, and he was a .Net programmer. Ok, no more discussion about that since I started getting a little angry from just thinking about that guy, but we all know these guys.

I saw this guy actually walk out of an important meeting because his code had a bug, and then he blamed the server (no, it was his code, so I was laughing on the inside).

I call this the Programmer's Ego. We all know this person. They are the person where no matter what, their code is like God himself typed it up, and any questioning that code results in them flipping out about how their code is amazing and that stuff. Those guys suck to deal with because they refuse to accept if there is a flaw in their code. It gets old and annoying

I have my own "internet" box that also run cable. The total cost of the entire system to build? About $200 or $300. It is a pc with Windows 7 on it and it uses Windows Media Center. Why would they try to push out more hardware when the software company already has a solution? I guess it seems like a waste or resources to me. They could be working on security for Windows 7 or getting more people working on stuff for IE9 or something. There is absolutely no need for a Microsoft set top box when for the same price any reasonably intelligent person can build a small pc with W7 on it and just use WMC instead

Didn't the Anonymous attacks get more publicity after Wikileaks? People are slowly moving over and listening, but a problem is that most for profit media in a state of crisis is state run media. Do you honestly think CNN or Fox News is going to keep a story about soldiers taking out kids or journalists?

When the media brushes serious incidents under the carpet, most of America is dumb enough to do the same. It is unfortunate, really, but eventually, one of these leaks is going to stick.

If you are a political power, maybe you shouldn't be a total douche. If not, places like WikiLeaks will continue to just push out document after document showing it
