    I have Time Warner Cable and I connect using Earthlink servers. I just went to Speedtest.net and checked speed. I get 10Mbs download and 0.449 Mbs upload. I guess I don't have broadband either

    The recent leak of diplomatic cables offers more evidence that the USA does not seem to respect it's allies. Like what? You really think France or Germany would attack the USA? Not in 1000 years. Most of Europe is not the military, war-waging type. I have a hard time imagining how the USA can justify spying on these countries and their officials. If even the closest allies of the USA are treated with so little trust and respect, then I'm not certain any country can fully trust the USA.

    Due to the fact that China is becoming the manufacturing plant for the world and is becoming richer every day because of this and doesn't seem to be insane, the rulers of NK do seem to be insane and are likely to to be quashed by China to protect its growth and near domination of the world market

    Those of us who use it sparingly or for specialized reasons will be deprived of it. And those who USE IT TO ON EVERYTHING WITHOUT REALIZING IT'S THE EQUIVALENT OF SHOUTING will still be stupid

    What specialized reasons do you use it for? It is just a pain in the arse, for example netbook users who accidently hit it because of the keyboard size. It is much like the human appendix, which may have served a purpose in the past, but now is ripe for removal when it it can only cause problems

    I bought one. My SO needed an mp3 player and likes watches so II bought her the Nano and a watch band made just for it. You have to wonder if Apple foresaw this, or it was just luck.

    All I have to say is WTF. If I were a journalist I'd already have my DSLR hanging around my neck. If I was interested in spying I'd buy a really good point and shoot and not draw attention to myself. Isn't it in a spies interest to NOT draw attention?
