When I was two years old in 1982, my father purchaced the spectrum as he figured that computers would be important in the future. He even soldered on a proper keyboard instead of the crappy rubber keys that came with it.
I started programming on this by typing in the symbols from a computer magazine that listed the basic code when I was around 4-5. Since all basic syntax had it's own key it was not too hard. The reward was a game that sometimes worked and sometimes was a bust.
I later learned real programming with the C64 and later on Pascal, assembly and C on DOS.
Works fine here. I have zfs root + refind on my laptop and grub2 + zfs root on my desktop with ssd cache drives. Works like a charm. It eats a bit of ram though:)
The only backdraw is that I have to wait for the zfs repository to update whenever arch releases a new kernel. Usually it takes 1-2 days so it's not too bad. Also, keep in mind that you can not offload the ZIL to another (ssd) drive for the root zpool so make sure you make a separate pool for the root and one with all the rest/usr,/home,/var etc. You can add cache ssd drives to the root pool though. Offloading ZIL (log) speeds up the writes and cache drives speeds up the reads.
Once you go zfs you don't go back as the possibilities are endless;)
Maybe it's just me (and I know it supports the old wii-motes), but I think the big controller is too weird and too big. I'm looking forward to ouya console or the steam console.
Correct. In Norway the socialists are the conservative ones, while the right parties (although still far left of democrats in the us) are the liberals.
Ugh, this really sounds like the way SAS responds when you try to access a field that doesn't exist. It will just create it and initialize it to missing value.
I'm sure the objc solution is creating a _lot_ more bugs than it "fixes".
Only one provider must suck big time. But you would think that there would be room for at least two competing against each other. Unless they cooperate on price:)
If you can prove that you have used substantially less than they claim and cut you off. As a side note: why the hell would anyone go with a plan with data caps? A 100 mbit fiber connection with no caps at all is around $100 a month here, if i drop to 60 mbit it costs $50. I think there are about 10 providers in this area competing with DSL, cable and fiber.
Maybe the answer is 42:) BUT. 42 light years at 10% of the speed of light (which is within the possibilities) and it would only take about 10 generations to reach this place. It could actually be a place suitable for evacuation!
The problem is that you then have to write content of high enough quality to be able to charge a premium and not just copy/paste from other news agencies.
So the low quality web that is driven for profit using adds and minimal original content might go away. How sad!
Of course you need to evaluate them too. I'm not sure how it is in the US as I don't live there, but are the salaries equal in the private and public schools? If not there is no point in evaluating the teachers in the public schools as all the good teachers will have drained to the private schools with higher salaries. Having equal salaries in the public schools makes sure you don't get the worst teachers by default.
If the salaries are equal then my statement is moot of course, but if not I'd much rather pay the teachers than fueling several wars abroad if I was a US citizen.
Oh, and I work as a risk analyst in one of the biggest banks in the world so I'm not exactly a leftish radical or something if anyone thinks that!
Yes, it is insane to pay those who are teaching the children well. Much more sane to pay lobbyists a few million a year to make sure the teachers have no say in legislation.
I agree. If the list came from the developers they would have matched 100% of the list in their database. They probably got paid to take the fall by someone. To bad most of the public are not proficient in math.
Maybe they can spend some of their 30%-35% profit margin on workers and only pocket a "modest" 10%. But that would make the investors mad of course. Screw the employees.
It is funny that the system that claims to be "where movies are made", even if the movies are made on linux, is the system with the worst media support.
Depends on what you do. I use SAS for processing huge (100m+) tables, SPSS for quick add-hoc stuff and R for modelling on the tables processed by SAS. Simple analysis like vintages are also a lot easier to produce in SAS than SPSS and R.
If anyone wondered what to use the Q for

Since it is apparently is going to use the same engine as swtor (hero), it will be a single threaded dx9 game. Should run fine if you boot your machine into windows. Might even work in wine!
This is already the status in Norway where I live. That is, it's not illegal to sell locked phones but all of the carriers are using gsm and you can port your phone number to any provider you want free of charge. There are three national networks and about 50 providers that are piggybanking on the large ones as they can by law only charge the smaller providers for the actual cost of running the network. The result is a lot of cheep plans that do not involve buying a phone. I don't think I have ever bought a provider locked phone and had no quarrels of moving to a new company before I started having my phone paid by my job.
Whale is quite common here in Norway still
It's also tasty.
Just marinade it in beer for a day or so and toss it on the bbq :)
You can also make "Keiko" burgers as we now call them after a member of the costal party served them during an election.

Just added a couple repositories to arch and build a new usb stick with zfs included.

Blink is based on webkit which itself is based on KHTML which is as you might know is fully open source (GPL). :)
They can't really change that license

Easy.
Just require a doctor notice for paid sick leave. If you don't have that, deduct the salary.

yr.no delivers world wide free weather data in xml and grib format. Enjoy :)
Here is the actual discussion on G+ instead of an article that just quotes everything they say.
Maybe you should buy the software :)

But how many sales did EA lose because of this? They lost me at least. I'm not going to install the Origin crap on my computer.
