I bought a galaxy tab for my self, and after a week I was battling my wife over it so I had to buy one for her as well and she loves it. I don't think the fire would be approved:)
Since it's still a visa card or mastercard I'd guess you still talk to the bank about backcharges and fraud. The only thing is that your phone is now the plastic.
Luckily the IT staff here are not bright enough to pick up g+, but facebook and others are blocked so I suspect it's only a matter of time. That is what you have unblocked internet on the cell phone for:)
WTF.. The first patent sound like regular expressions. If I was making these handsets (or any type of gadget) I might just discard the US market in all an leave them to the patent trolls and focus on the rest of the world.
Sending HD quality family videos to family that they can just pop into the bdr under the tv. But macintosh never was a content production platform was it?;)
The Android location services have allways been opt in with a big warning when you turn it on. If you are even more paranoid just install a custom version of android where you have total control.
Hopefully these people will not apply for jobs in faculties that involve actual science and stick to the studies that are made to discuss this. Maybe Texas should just secede and be the place where all the nut jobs live.
I never understood the appeal of buying one song. I'm much more comfortable with a subscription service like spotify (which i use) and wimp where you pay a sum each month and can listen to whatever song you want. I wish the movie and tv industry would go for this model as well and let you play anything as long as you subscribe on any device you want.
The games are written in C using native code most often using the NDK API. Only the UI is written in java. Of course if you buy a low-end phone without hardware accelerated opengl you will see lower performance.
So this is the list of companies that never will receive my money again. Not that it would be hard, I have hardly ever bought anything from any of these in the past.
Considering that they can't even make a standard mini-jack for audio without crippling to only accept their authorized accessories, I would say option 1. If they can't sway enough then option 2 obviously.
Ugh, that sounds horrible and extremely anti-competitive. AFAIK we have about 50 different mobile operators for soon to be 5 million people in Norway. And they all use GSM. If you want to switch to another operator you can use the same phone and telephone number. It would explain the operator locked phones you have though, thank you:)
You still have the choice of buying an unbranded phone. Why anyone would buy a phone that is locked to one carrier is beyond me, but it might be different over the pond in the US.

Do as I did, only post baby photos on g+ and lure with hangouts with the baby :)

What the hell do they put into that package to make it 4 GB? Isn't XCode just an IDE and a compiler bundled together?
If they wanted to copy the look and feel of the iphone they would have to remove everything but the app drawer from android.
You wouldn't install Schkype from Mr Hong on your PC and you should not do that on the phone either!

And here in Oslo I'm getting 60/60 mbit internet, hdtv and telephone over a fiber connection without any caps for about $100 :)

Ditto. In addition I can have my wifes mobile phone on my subscription as well without extra cost.
Meanwhile I'm running Cyanogenmod with no restrictions on my DHD.

Maybe it is different in the us, but at least here in europe I get skype for android that works with voip over 3g and wlan via android market.
Can it do VOIP calls for free now like the android version?
I'm missing The Exploration Of Space in that list :(
Not after EU rejected it :)

And Mad TV reported about it in 2006 :)
