You don't need to wear a face-mask of Clarkson at petrol pumps to know what stuff he buys. It's denim, Brunel, fruit preserves, lanolin, Phil Collins undies, wind turbines, more Brunel, prostitutes, Piers Morgan line of fragrances, judicial restraint letters, the works of Dylan Thomas, Cardiff City football shirts, even more fucking Brunel, rocket-powered testicles, degrees in engineering from the Brunel College of Top Engineering, global warming studies, dicks the size of telephone poles with propellers, and a 10-year supply of Brunel.

If the US has given away "shit for free" to a "worthless" country, it's because it served some diplomatic or strategic purpose, not because it is a paragon of generosity. Nothing wrong in furthering one's cause, but to say that it was largesse is specious, at best.

I build my own distro, but I have always based the package-management on SlackBuilds. The "package-management" is just 4 scripts, and doesn't need fat libraries to work. Pacman from Arch is similar, but requires ugly hacks for it to run on my system. Also, I can just use vanilla Slackware build scripts for many packages, so I don't have to rewrite scripts for them, either. Even when I need to, they're so simple, with none of the convoluted syntax of other PM systems, that I can write/edit them in no time.

I don't see any non-Jewish pro-Israeli group/individual having the zeal and motivation to carry out a terrorist attack against the enemies of Israel, driven solely by a goodwill for Israel. They must have some other hidden agenda, surely. It's more likely that this group/individual is pissed off at someone who co-incidently also happens to be an "enemy" of Israel.

Happens in cricket, as well, and is termed as ball tampering. It's illegal and is done to affect the aerodynamics of the ball. Bowlers (the equivalent of pitchers) work on one hemisphere of the ball and keep it smooth and shiny by applying saliva, sweat etc. and rubbing it vigorously against fabric. Using any means other than body fluids and natural wear and tear on the ball to affect its swing is illegal and carries harsh penalties.
