Do you really, honestly and sincerely believe that all Americans just run around saying "we're the best!" and have some primitive need to "be the best!"?

    USA! USA!

Yes, I think that, I see that whenever I'm working with the general public, and I hate it. This has nothing to do with fashion, or trying to sound above the masses... I've had someone I don't know threaten to throw a punch at me because they said america was great, and I asked them why.

So that's my post about the 'appeal to humanity' thing... the masses don't have it, and the ones who do are either exausted or outnumbered. And I don't mean they are hate machines that only care about profit... no no, that's their owners. I mean the masses are hate machines that crave unearned superiority, living lives of medocrity, and a blank check for all the toys they can stamp their feet for. They feel that they should never have to change their opinion, and that it's weak to do so. They feel a single sentence sums up any idea. I don't feel this because I've been brainwashed by /. or some evil liberal... I feel this way because I see it happen every day.

That said however, I do love and have always loved the potential of my country... I belive that in spite of the damage of the last 30 to 40 years, it could still bring it around and be great again. It's just going to come down to the question of what is stronger... the greed at the top that is driving the herd, or that greatness that is supposed to be a part of every citizen.

Just to play devils advocate here, there WAS supposed to be another plane hitting another building... if they did set this up, it would be hard to explain the demo charges in building 7 if it didn't fall over like they had expected. Better to blow it down as planned and invistigate it after everyone stopped worrying about it.

About the contents of the building from Wiki:

World Trade Center 7 housed SEC files relating to numerous Wall Street investigations, as well as other federal investigative files. All the files for approximately 3,000 to 4,000 SEC cases were destroyed. While some were backed up in other places, others were not, especially those classified as confidential.[49] Files relating Citigroup to the WorldCom scandal were lost.[50] The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission estimates over 10,000 cases will be affected.[51] The Secret Service had its largest field office, with more than 200 employees, in WTC 7 and also lost investigative files. Says one agent: âoeAll the evidence that we stored at 7 World Trade, in all our cases, went down with the building.â[52]

The collapse of 7 World Trade Center is remarkable because it was the first known instance of a tall building collapsing primarily by uncontrolled fires.[53]

Not to say I buy into the crazy theorys or anything... but building 7 was always the part that didn't sit right for me.

Preferably you get 10,000 people of different races, social standings, different countrys, ect. As different as possible who all have this 1 common thing.

It's true that doing that isn't 100%. It could be, for example, that gene they found in this hypothetical situation is for an extra set of sensers in your nose (a good thing). However, it isn't astrology. There is scientific reason behind it.

The second you ask me to install a toolbar I'm downloading it out of spite. Don't be ashamed to follow their model, because the worthless crap version that EA has is insulting.

Demo's that last more then 5 minutes after I spend 30 minutes downloading them. (Faster connection or longer demo, get it to a 1:1 download/playtime ratio or better for the demo)

Acheivements/rewards for connecting to your servers. Once again, valve wins. I love being able to look at my gamer profile on steam and see all the stuff I've done, my stats for each game, and so on. That is a perk for connecting (pirated versions don't work online, so you miss out on this)

Honest reviews, but of course that's corruption on the reviewing end not on the makers end. (Though threatening to 'cut them off' if you don't get a good review? That's pretty bad)
