    they basically do the same as you would, they would refund the shipping cost if anything and nothing more.

    As you would be expected to return the fee you received for the service you provide but would not assume liability for potential losses the client my assume because you didn't deliver the C++ code

    Once society decides to place a nuclear plant (or a city) on a particular site then the best thing would be to permanently use that site for that purpose.

    that makes me wonder, if 1 plant is decommissioned and turned into a long term storage facility for nuclear waste, how much capacity would it have? could part of the storage problem simply be resolved by using space reclaimed from one reactor to house the waste of a great number of other reactors.

    Sapphire is hard... 9 on the Mohs scale, and the only substance harder is natural and synthetic diamond. I find it difficult to believe... so...do you have any references that says Gorilla Glass is cheaper and harder than Sapphire?

    he said it was stronger not harder, very different things. things that are harder on the Mohs scale are more likely to shatter than things lower on the scale, hardness is not the only factor that determines the durability of a material .

    or perhaps its not a comment on the iphone, perhaps it refers to SCSI, firewire, ADB, the various charge connectors for laptops over the years.

    so yes apple used 1 connector for 9years , however its not a 'standard that apple embraced' its a proprietary connector they created.

    Started life as a 9600 this modem saw everything up to v.90 and kflex from both the client and isp end configurations what a machine.

    That modem was built to last it was built when modems where fairly new, and remained relevant with just a firmware update now and then until modems them selves became all but extinct.

    Speaking as someone who when they first saw a smart car said to themselves "I wonder if i run out into the road and shoulder check it if it would tip over" I don't think the vandals in question are doing this to make a statement. I think its most likely that they had a similar thought combined it with youthful enthusiasm and the great decision making power that only a group of teenagers can have.

    I can't imagine anything deeper than "balls deep" as i originally assumed the NSA was into RSA. This leaves me dumbfounded I have written the NSA and asked for schematics on how they managed to get past balls deep, how much further they went, and did they get a whole leg in? did they get past the hips? was there a a device similar to the jaws of life employed in the process?

    what possible IP could facebook want from Oculus that would be worth that much to them?

    Technologies that allow them to directly compete with things like google glass? the oculus is a vr console that has lower lag than any other vr headset ever made, seems to me that's the piece they wanted and its more likely to end up in augmented reality displaying us advertisements and convincing us to like things than FB going from a platform for casual gaming to producing tech geared towards hardcore gamers.

    what's with the string of people saying "No you can't because of something server side" if something server side prevented you from rolling back due to incompatibility it would prevent people who haven't upgraded from working in the same way.

    The best solution, in your opinion is to STFU and do what apple and google says is best for us then?

    I have never heard an opinion on this site i respected less.

    This *IS* an issue on phones, my current android phone is virtually unusable and slow since i updated the fact that i can't roll back and the performance was so hideous has tainted my view of Android entirely i'm not even considering an android device for my next phone
