I can get behind some of that; I did not like the path that Oblivion took, and Morrowind's game engine in all honesty truly was a steaming pile of crap that should have been nuked from orbit repeatedly until we can be sure that not one single atom from it remains unstirred. Even on modern hardware, Morrowind still stutters (especially concerning sound; changing from battle to regular music causes freezes in WINE), while Oblivion and the MGE project work just fine (for me at least).
Still, I think from an abstract design point of view, Morrowind got a lot of things right for me. Is it ideal for the people you mention? No! If they want to kill people without any real consequences, they should play Halo. As a mod, you couldn't tell them that, and I can sure see how that would be incredibly annoying. I get similar in tech support (both paid and unpaid).
Even when a restraining order specifically commands the cops that they must take action if XYZ happens, they do not have to do it, per these rulings. Also, in some places, defending yourself can get you in quite a mess of trouble (duty to retreat, anti-weapon laws) that make your best legal option to rely upon the cops for protection.
This goes beyond stopping crazy people from suing cops all the time.
Seconded. I still play Morrowind to this day. I would add that it's not just great single player that makes for a long-lasting game; modability is up there too. If you finally get bored with singleplayer, change the rules/quests/etc to make it more interesting. I would be willing to pay for Bethesda to continually tweak the game; I love it that much.
Plus, they have the advantage that they are bound to protect you. In the US, the Supreme Court has ruled that police have no duty to protect any individual, only "society," a few special people, and those imprisoned by them. Even if you have a restraining order that commands the police to take action, you are not considered special enough. (See Warren vs. DC, Hartzler vs City of San Jose, Riss vs. New York, DeShaney vs. Winnebago County Department of Social Services; there are plenty of other)

My favorite keyboard is from the same era, but that has nothing to do with the connector and everything to do with the keys themselves.

If your computer is under such heavy load that a USB mouse/keyboard is being dropped, I think it's time to upgrade from that 286!
I have heard it claimed that "regulate" meant "to make regular" in ye olden days, not "control or supervise." That would be more in line with the intent to prevent internal tariffs and trade wars (which occurred before the passage of the Constitution).
What about this: Get a Roku box, and use the composite out to a capture card. Record that input, and you're good to go. HDMI may work, but I'm not up on what sorts of encryption it may or may not have.
Snow White even came out in the 30s; my grandparents weren't even *alive* at that point in time! Not only are the artists probably all dead, but the management is probably dead as well.
It is kind of sad, isn't it. Our grandparents paid to watch the old Disney movies when they first came out, and maybe bought them on tape. Our parents bought them on tape, and maybe even got them again on DVD. Now, to access the same WW2 and 50s era content (e.g. Bambi, Cinderella, Snow White), we have to pay (directly or indirectly) to stream it.
You could also get a box that just does Netflix; take a look at the offerings from Roku. I've been pretty happy with that myself. I kind of have to be; with Linux on my desktop, that's about all I get. Plus, there's no need to train your wife/girlfriend/friends/kids/etc. on how to use it; it is pretty much self explanatory.
Better integration, for one. You know what is and isn't there, you can style it to fit in with the rest of the environment, etc. Plus choosing Qt or GTK can mean your app looks funny in one environment (it doesn't have to though).
Since they opened US branches, the US was finally able to demand and get access to Swiss banks. That just might be a reason they care, although he is not American.
Right, because leaking more papers is just as bad as comitting mass murder, flying planes into buildings, bombing campaigns and the like. Blackmail? Sure.
Conservatives drool over the military and intelligence agencies. Any tiny criticism of either sends the more hardcore ones into a rage and will likely end up with an accusation of being a terrorist (or terrorist-lover).
You should note that Wikileaks redacts their releases and gets advice from more mainstream sources on what to redact. If that's as fringe as crashing planes into buildings, I really don't want to hear your opinions on any news source. Most of these docs are innocuous in any case. "Tell us about President so-and-so" is what most of them end up being.
IIRC, the 4G standards call for a peak downstream rate of 1 Gb/s, which is multiple times what my cable provider gives me. If such speeds start rolling out within the next decade, this will be workable many times over.

If the content can be seen, there is a way to back it up. You could make your own physical media from the streams if you need it.
It's available now--I just checked. Not only that, but it's in HD.

Stateless autoconfiguration might get rid of some DHCP servers, saving precious electrons.

You could also do a Diablo 2 LAN party. If only there were more nerds in my neck of the woods...
WoW sucks!
(Am I doing it right?)
I don't play WoW (or any MMORPG), but I'm having high hopes for Diablo III.
