I don't think they could be sued, there is no false advertising on their part. It blatantly states "A Mac isn't susceptible to the thousands of of viruses plaguing Windows-based computers."
That is a completely accurate statement. Mac OS X cannot be infected with a Windows virus.
Unless you need to work to save up for college, I'd suggest enjoying your summer instead.
Why?
Because when you join the workforce after college you are never going to get an entire summer off again. And depending on how your college career goes you could find yourself spending your summers studying as well.
people in africa have been starving since i was a kid.
Is that supposed to make it better somehow?
Nope. But it makes it pretty damn hard to sympathize with their plight when they've been living in a dustbowl and starving for 40 years and no amount of aid from the outside is even making a dent in the problem. There is a point where you stop flushing money down the toilet. The west reached that point 35 years ago as far as I'm concerned.

One more reason for me to stay away from movie theatres. I already loathe going due to the unwashed masses that can't act respectfully to other movie goers for 2 hours and now an increase in price is sure to keep me away.
Exactly. People SHOULD pay for their choices. So if you choose to have kids you should pay full price for their daycare program, their schooling, their sports teams and facilities, and their healthcare. Why should those of us that choose not to have kids have to support your choice?
You don't have to be taking pictures every couple of minutes to accumulate that many over the course of the day. When I take pictures on vacation I take a few of each shot I'm trying to get. Maybe I don't see that part of it is out of focus on that tiny 3" screen on the back of the camera. Or maybe I want some shots from different angles. I decide once I am home which are worth saving and which are not.
You're on vacation. Just get a couple 16 gig SD cards (or whatever your camera takes). Unless you are shooting in RAW you are not going to fill those cards. Then just dump them to the laptop you have with you. Worry about transferring everything when you get back. You are on vacation, enjoy it.
The ethics of the companies producing the goods are not my problem. If the workers want more money and better working conditions they need to stand up for themselves.
Well then that's not a Windows virus now is it. If it was written to infect a Mac, then it is a Mac virus.
Here is a link showing the before and after of the Apple web page in question.

You're still young. Enjoy it while you can.

Hey I wonder why prefab housing hasn't taken off in North America and Europe.
Oh that's right. It is because prefab houses look like cheap shit.
Would you feel safe in a building of that size that was slapped together in 90 days?
I know I wouldn't no matter who built it.
One more reason for me to stay away from movie theatres. I already loathe going due to the unwashed masses that can't act respectfully to other movie goers for 2 hours and now an increase in price is sure to keep me away.
They teamed up with Navy SEALs to develop this. That means a branch of the US Government is involved.
No thanks.
Is it reasonable on their part? No.
Would I quit my job over it? No. Unless I was already in the process of gaining employment elsewhere this is a pretty weak reason to quit a job.
Would I do online banking (or other such things that require an HTTPS connection) at work? No.
Legality? Well it is their network. They can do what they want on it. You don't have to do your banking across their network.
ROFL
Oh. You were serious.
Unless you are buying a classic, a car is not an investment either.
Count me as someone that never gets that "Apple is overpriced you can get a cheaper laptop...blah...blah...blah" argument.
Hey, Lexus is over priced. And honestly...it really is just a Toyota. So why not just buy a Toyota and save that money?
I have one for my Air. It fits in my pocket. Or the pocket of the case my air is in. It really is no big deal.
Not to mention that a lot of early innovation for computers was done either during war time or was a result of funding DoD projects.

When is Left 4 Dead 3 coming out?!?!?!?!?!?

Well if they had stopped and thought about it for a second they would have realized that the ONLY person responsible was the one driving the car.
Just because the driver of the car got off lightly on criminal charges doesn't mean that they can't sue him for ruining their quality of life.
So you're saying that this couple should not have applied basic logic to what their lawyer was telling them?
If the distracted driver had been listening to the radio instead, should they have sued the radio station?
I am not a number.
Kindly STFU.
I already own the paper version. I just download it so I have a copy that plays on my other devices.
Ummm. If the US blocked the export of the book it wouldn't be available on UK Amazon.
