    I remember the exact same claims back in to '70s and '90s. Apart from expensive muscles for tiny robots and your fancy glasses, nothing new has come of it in all this time.

    I think it does. Good thing that it combines immediately with the hydrochloric acid that causes the breakdown to form table salt and water.

    Also I'm not too convinced that the hydrolysis of sucrose in the stomach is immediate. Doing it in a pan (making invert sugar) involves boiling with acid and water for about 20 minutes. At body temp this would take even longer.

    The keyword is "invented." The well-known rules and even the existence of libraries are a direct result of the shortcomings of physical media. Both have become obsolete, but society needs time to adapt to that. And yes, this means that famous authors need to find an honest job, just like all the authors today that don't make the bestseller lists.

    I couldn't agree more. They may give some slack but you're still on a leash. However after stripping off the DRM (which is still legal in the civilized world) I find that I really enjoy reading ebooks.

    You have to take into account noise on fingernail sized sensors. On this scale at 6MP, the noise floor would be very low.

    Yes, I understand why you have to install the Quicktime framework with iTunes. There is however no compelling reason beyond territorium building to sneak Quicktime player and Safari in there as well.
