    I hated dealing with them before they bought Sun. Then I actually started to hate dealing with them more than Microsoft.

    And you can always manually individually block sites/domains.

    Soon it will really suck if the domain you created has the letters ad in it,

    As opposed to AdBlock which exchanges cash to allow some advertisers to "bypass" built in blocks.

    z nice antenna and an OTA compatible DVR. Some new content, and better resolution than cable companies provide.

    It's a one time purchase of a couple hundred bucks. Some OTA DVR services have a monthly charge for things like television guides or cloud services, I'm surprised that a whole lot of little companies haven't popped up to install stuff like this.

    Just because you digitize something doesn't mean you own the rights to the image.

    Sounds like a combination of cash grab and physical space savings.

    by analyzing movie trailers. Modern trailers for upcoming movies usually spoil anything possibly good or interesting about new movies. I seriously avoid watching trailers for movies I want to see. Although for other movies, trailers can convince me which movies to absolutely avoid.

    Data analysis of movie revenue based on actors/scriptwriters/directors would be a better start, but that would cost way more money, because you'd have to work around "Hollywood Accounting" practices to figure out how much money movies actually created.

    This type of analysis will create another miasma of Spiderman//Superman movie "reboots" because "This Time for Sure" Isn't there another Robin Hood movie coming out soon?

    You can't lose access to them because of a software glitch or the eBook distribution company going out of business.

    Overdrive from my local library works pretty well. I also borrow real paper books from my library.

    My days of dropping tons of money on paper books are long gone. Unless it's a signed first edition hardcover...

    1) It's less messy than having authors sign tablets.

    2) When the power fails for a few days, paper books still work if you have sunlight, or a lamp or flashlight.

    3) You probably don't want to swat bugs with a tablet or phone.

    4) You can't store as much booty in a hallowed out tablet.
