    Rather than one large program you make a lot of small programs and pipe them through to each other.

    Oh you mean the opposite of systemd?

    I get something similar but for healthcare. Always uses the same area code and prefix of my number. Today I pressed 1 for a live person and they asked about healthcare. I told them to take me off the list and they hung up. Next time I'm going to start sexually harassing them.

    The pi uses binary blobs. It's intent was to be cheap for students, not an open source platform.

  15. The service where I live is terrible. The old guy who delivers my wrongly addressed mail is a sour looking asshole. He also drops cigarette butts in my driveway and can't be bothered to walk up my porch steps to deliver packages. He leaves them out in the rain and also is so lazy he forgets to close the mailbox lid. He won't pick up outgoing mail unless he has something to deliver. I've had outgoing mail in my box for three days! I've complained to the post office but it's in the ghetto and they don't care.

    The FCC doesn't really monitor anymore. I listen to the CB channels with a $10 SDR dongle and hear people in the next state with signals stronger than the locals. Some guy in Florida was running a pirate FM station 24/7 for over a month before the FCC showed up. The Puerto Ricans still love their 2KW blasters.

    I work with a woman who smoked for 20 years. She told me quitting cold turkey was fine and people are babies about it.
