and amazon collects taxes on every state they have a warehouse. i can understand that subsidiaries are dodgy but if a company can't be held legally responsible for the criminal actions of their subsidiaries then amazon can't because their subsidiaries may try to dodge this. might i add that no other companies are being asked to pay taxes on their subsidiaries business they just go to the subsidiaries (a separate company i might add) for this.
the law says if you buy from a catalog or mail order company the person who buys not the company is required to declare it on their taxes. this is nothing more than a few corrupt governors and attorney generals trying to bypass the current tax code to get money in a tough economy to cover up their paying themselves 8 times the salary they should be getting by targeting a name everybody on the street knows.
who for the love of jesus would want to cross the border with anything that can hold data when the "I'm going to take your notebook for two years and not return border patrol is on the call.
maybe just maybe our elected officials should be happy with the hundreds of billions they already collect. i mean it's not like the county i lived in didn't slash 10 million from the schools budget then bought a 3 million dollar stretch of land they sold to a corporation for a dollar and a promise for a factory they broke.

i've had both of them reactivate after upgrading firefox to a new version.
this argument can be applied to microsoft and their .net as well as java since they both install plug-ins that can't be removed in Firefox.

wouldn't allow them to bribe politicians since corporations bought their citizenship because until they needed it for that very reason.
