  1. Comprehension vs. Regurgitation on Hard-to-Read Fonts Improve Learning · · Score: 1

The story omitted the finding that although the harder to read font improved a students ability to comprehend and retain information, allowing for higher in class assignment scores. The unintended consequence was the lost ability to regurgitate context-less and useless dates, numbers and names on state tests. With the lost ability to understand the standard academic font: (Bulimic A,B,C,D) aka (Bulimic A,B,C,D-all of the above-), the student test subjects failed state exams.
Although correcting the grammar of the test and writing many pages of detailed analysis of each question gained the students sympathy from administrators, there was nothing that could be done. One administrator is quoted: "Do I feel awful? Pained for letting this happen? Responsible for letting damage happen that could haunt them for all their life? All of the above, without a doubt, All of the above."

Only a true commie would think we need a huge federal government to put out a house fire. Us toothless uneducated conservative dolts out here in my neck of the 'woods' have volunteer fire fighters who do the job because they like it. The community supports them through the fund raisers and such.

Your socialist ideas do have merit though. If we just 'purged' (that means kill in Russia,Cuba,China, etc.) libertarian and conservative operatives that would mean far less people who might need government services. Although the problem arises that of the remaining population there would be only about 6 people not on welfare of some sort. Something to think about though.

With socialism all your money belongs to the state and the fire department wont put out the fire unless you bribe them too. Yeah, that sounds better.

    --->Answer:
If you don't pay the $75 fee then you sign an agreement that you will be billed the "actual cost" itemized for your convenience. There we go. We put out the fire, put the cost on the 'consumer' choosing to 'buy' the service AND we didn't even have to enact the most corrupt, deadly, failed model of a government to do it!

This is true. I took a Russian History class with an adjunct that the collage hated, but had no choice since he was the most qualified. The reason the collage hated him is because too many of his students received grades of A or B. He was simply the best teacher of any sort I have ever encountered. This guy could splice together Russian history in a way you thought it was an HBO miniseries. When you went to take the tests you couldn't help but know the answers because you were waiting for the next episode.
Collage hated him though, too many A's and B's and he said himself they would never offer him a job. Sad.

Oh, and fishexe the Bill O'Reilly 'quote' is about kali sheikh mohammed (mastermind of 9/11) and the context was Bill asking a guest if 9/11 was a terrorist act. Bill wanted the guests opinion on that question, not legal advise about constitutional rights for non US citizens. You should stop taking quotes out of context or people are going to start thinking you're full of shit.

    • Can string a sentence together without making up words or stumbling over words with more than one syllable.

Have you heard Obama without a teleprompter?

Has not prematurely announced 'mission accomplished' when the mission is barely started.

Everyone knows the mission accomplished sign was for that aircraft carrier that had finished it's job in the invasion and was on the way home

Actually seems to give a shit about health-care for other-than-the-rich.

The health care bill was a bailout for big union bosses who are driving their unions into the ground. A clear majority didn't want the reform that was passed and want it repealed.

    Obama vs Cheny:

    • Thus far at least, he hasn't shot anyone in the face, and then had the victim apologise (!)

Is this accident really the best thing you have against Cheney?

Doesn't, to my knowledge, keep a man-sized safe in his office. Always been curious about the 'man-sized' thing...

Really? This is going to be your argument?

Doesn't support the indefinite holding of suspects without charge in internment camps. One measure of a society is how you treat undesirables, and Guantanamo bay is an indelible stain on the Bush/Cheney years.

When you say ''undesirables'' you mean enemy combatants who can be detained at the Presidents discretion. Well Obama wanted to expand those rules to US citizens who plot against terrorists (see Time Square bomber). That's right, cry a river for terrorists fighting against our troops, but US citizens being denied their constitutional rights...not notable I guess.

You arguments are weak and I'm sure if you saw Obama on TV and there was a typo with a R instead of a D next to his name you would start attacking him before you figured out it's just a typo.

Why then do you feel you can infringe on their religious doctrine? State officials should not be able to preform a religious ceremony. No official government actions or laws should reflect if two people are married, single or anything else. If people wish to become legally responsible to one another (like a civil union) that can be a separate process independent of your religious marital status.

You prevent two people from achieving great happiness for no other reason but selfish, faith-induced ignorance.

If the issue really is about two people and their love for one another then why does it matter what those with "faith-induced ignorance" think? They can have a ceremony or they can not and it has no bearing because government does not matter. Government is not god and does not have to bless their union anymore than between a man and a woman.

As with most things, this is a simple matter of removing government from the problem and it self resolves.
