Just select all the mail you've got and forward to someone who will be around - like your manager (he/she will appreciate the extra e-mail - it will make him/her feel more important) - and then have them forward all the mail to the new person.
Deep in the myriad of navigation to get the details, it did say you could make the glass opaque by touching it... but my main concern is somewhat more base.... Where's the bathroom?
In the last 35 years, copyright has become less of a problem. It's easy to avoid copyright infringement with virgin developers; however, too many patent trolls would make lawsuits for patent infringement (imagined or otherwise) almost guaranteed.
I had the same call come to me twice. The second time I took a little more time and here's how it went:
They usually ask you to open up the event viewer to show you all the "malware" on your system. After booting up my windows XP VM, he opened up a command prompt window to one of the Windows folders. Then he ran the command "attrib". at the end I got a similar the command prompt back:
C:\Windows>Windows firewall subscription has expired.
with the written text about the firewall being typed MUCH slower than my 8 year old son types.
Eventually I told the guy he was doing all of this in a VM, and he didn't think I was as smart as I said, so he asked a couple of obscure computer questions (about msconfig and northbridge/southbridge)... I then asked him if I could ask him a question... I asked, "Will you take me off of your call list?" I tried to guilt him out of doing what he was doing, but I figured I'd wasted enough time, so I hung up. I haven't had another call since then.
IE9 renders the dots on the world map smoother than Firefox 4, but messes up the map it's all stretched and funny looking.
Chrome renders the dots smoother than Firefox 4, but has semi-transparent artifacts remaining over the spiral graph image and slows down significantly when you hover over the bar graph.
I've lived south of Seattle for 30 years, and predictions like these have been coming for years and years. I've personally felt 2 earthquakes, and seen dust from Mt. Saint Helens. While this doesn't minimize the likelihood of another big earthquake, I just question the reason this is news - especially on/.
If this guy CALLED Apple, why don't they have a record of it, figure out the number it came from and then get the real guy? Oh wait... the number he was using was... stolen.
Ah the memories... A friend of mine shut off the circuit breaker at her parents’ house as the clock struck Midnight. Not a bug, but an excellent chance for a practical joke.
It's one thing to post news... but is it really news that $5K has been raised on /.?

If only Slashdot could do the same
Take a look at MS-DOS source... that'll be elegant and bug free.

They've already tried this... that's why the meteors always hit Russia... that's where copyrighted material always ends up.

This is Japan... you need to watch out for the 4th ride:
Therefore in apartment buildings the numbers are 101, 102, 103, 105, 106, ... 201, 202, 203, 205, 206...
[Does the DHS] have it's own lobbying organization now?
Of course.. they're call "Defense Contractors"... and they get all of their funding through the DoD.
You already HAVE donated to it... when was the last time you checked your credit card balances?
Ironically, when I started reading people's comments, my driver failed and had to be reloaded in Windows 7 for my year old NVidia card.
I'd much rather lose the dog... I can't stand it anyway.
Right-click somewhere in the blank area by the address bar, hit customize, then simply drag the home button to wherever you'd like it.
How's that for new browser standards compliance?
... Iran has recently placed orders for thousands of high speed oscillating fans to, "keep their government buildings free hummingbird infestations".
Moore's Law is that the number of transistors on a single integrated circuit would double - it has nothing to do with speedup.
Google Instant can save 2-5 seconds per search
Now they can use the extra 2-5 seconds for annoying animating doodles.

Designers (Systems & UI) are easy. The hard part is making sure both designs match.
... I didn't think it was possible... an HONEST politician?

Ok...nevermind. I've been spending too much time on the wife's laptop... it's the laptop, not Windows 7
On a side note, if you want to play games with great aspect ratio and color, try an Acer Aspire Timeline series laptop!
