Instead of worrying about Saturn's cyclones, how about worrying about earth's cyclones, hurricanes, tornadoes and tsunamis?
Lets reserve the funding for this within our own earth please. On one hand, people talk about making the earth "green" and on the other hand, they blow up useful money into researching how the universe was built, whether Mars has life on it, how cyclones and tsunamis occur on Saturn. Does the scientific community not have its priorities right and consistent?
Both of them may talk about each other all the time. But they are never clear on what they *themselves* want to do as president. Both make ambiguous statements.
Regarding net neutrality, Obama is socialist, so he's talking about net neutrality.
McCain hasn't even used a computer, so he knows nothing about it.
Dear sirs, I am a prince of a country that's caught in war between using ipv4 and ipv6. If you deposit $100,000 I will promise you returns of 10,000 million IPv6 IP addresses. Please send me your account number, SSN, credit card details and other important detail that will help me facilitate the transaction.
So they think IP addresses are like ID cards and nobody can spoof them... shows the sorry state of affairs and why we get so much spam and nobody is accountable for it and why they can't catch the spammers.
Why not create a hybrid of MySQL and Oracle and give it out for a lower price than Oracle? Something that has the best features of both MySQL and Oracle.
The only plausible explanation for this ridiculous judgment is maybe that many anti-spam software writers work out of Virginia. The State doesn't want to lose revenue by letting these poor souls go out of business.
Actually, I'm asking the guy wearing the "Apple" badge questions about MacOS. He doesn't know anything about iWork licensing or about the kernel. All he knows is "these are iMacs and MacBooks". Smart genius indeed!!!

Why don't Debian and Ubuntu just merge? It would make a whole lot of things easier.
Offtrack, isn't Debian == Deb + Ian anyway?
Just don't take it along buddy. :)
So, Afrinic has moved to IPv6 but the kingdom where the sun always shines (at least at one time) is still stuck on IPv4. Interesting.
EU has a good point, for a change.
Yeah, when other phones have replaceable batteries, why not for the iPhone?

A good old fashioned spanking will set them right.
No need to worry about this hi-tech gadget rubbish, that too in Ford. :)
Great! I was waiting for this book to be out. So I can write OpenGL apps for the iPhone.
Any idea when the iPhone SDK will reflect this update?
Oh!! You really mean that? Are you serious???
Does this affect solid state drives too? I just bought an asus eee pc 901.
15 minutes will save his life (and that of others as well). So easy an old man can do it. GEICO!
Searching for "Nigerian Scam" returns only 4,110 results. Were there more scammers after the introduction of IPv6?

Yours lovingly,
His Royal Highness Prince of some Nigerian tribe

Maybe the Large Hadron Collider can help us with this. The scientists can try to recreate this as well - after they fix the magnet issues.
I just love Gimp. But why does Gimp have to separate the windows like that? Can't it have everything as a multi-document all under one window?
Oh, and I noticed that images created with Gimp have a smaller size than Adobe Photoshop.
Next, they'll implant a webserver chip into my ear under the skin.
No need to go webhosting with Rackspace. :)
Slashdot violated Apple's NDA by revealing too much info about Apple, so Slashdot's Apple SDK license will be canceled without further notice.
Ahem, Apple will not allow the Apple section Slashdot anymore. :-/
Great, now we have a quality product where both software+hardware come from the same source, like Sun's Solaris boxes and Apple's Macs.
If she's charged at the market rate of $0.99 per song, she'll owe the music companies $24.00 plus tax.
Let her pay it and be done over with.
Slashdot readers spend 80% to 90% of their Internet time at slashdot.org.
Ah, thats why we have AMD's X2 and Intel's Dual-Core which are *so* similar.

And call it MyOracle [tm].
