  1. Windows Gurus vs Apple Geniuses on Best Buy + Windows Guru = Apple Store Experience? · · Score: 1

Windows Gurus vs Apple Geniuses... they are more or less the same.

Lets see who'll win the bout. I've been to BestBuy many times since they started selling Macs, and I have yet to find someone who can answer my questions.

Maybe the best guys to hire are the little Linux school geeks in my neighborhood.

  2. My iphone 3g got stolen! on DOJ Needs Warrant To Track Your Cell's GPS History · · Score: 3, Interesting

What if someone stole my iPhone 3G and committed a crime? Will I be tracked and punished?

Its analogous to the red light traffic cameras that take photos of those who jump the red light, irrespective of who's driving the car, the owner is fined!

  3. Legality of this on Locate Any WiFi Router By Its MAC Address · · Score: 4, Insightful

Er, isn't it illegal to wardrive in some states [Florida] in the first place?

And then putting out the MAC address publicly, like finding someone's SSN and posting it publicly. Oh, I guess its the owner's fault for not securing it.

  4. Try Digsby on Cross-Platform Video Chat For Linux? · · Score: 1

    >> Gaim-vv hasn't been developed in over two years and is so out of date that it's still going by Gaim and not Pidgin.

Gaim has been renamed to Pidgin a while now (even on my Windows PC).

You may want to try Digsby, I heard the new update to it has video support too.

  5. Satan created the controversy on Ubuntu Satanic Edition Banned From Distrowatch · · Score: 1

Isn't it obvious Satan created this issue so there could be a controversy while he sits back and laughs on his iron hot-red metal seat with pins sticking up all over the place?

  6. Ridiculous action on Childless Adults In Park To Be Interrogated · · Score: 1

Child predators usually operate alone, and the park folks think that any adult who goes to the park without a child is a predator??

How stupid is that, kind sirs?

So in order to enjoy fresh breeze in the park, I have to drag my kids along each time? Crazy!!

  7. It was HP, not Apple on Apple Losing Touchscreen War · · Score: -1, Troll

It was HP, not Apple that started the touch screen. So Apple has nothing to lose really. And Moto and Samsung rock! Apple is just hype.

  8. The Black Hole and Big Bang on CERN, the Big Bang and Impact On the IT Industry · · Score: 1

The other day, someone was watching a movie on his iPod Touch and walking on the road. He didn't see the black hole in front of him, and fell down. He got a glimpse of what the Big Bang was about!

  9. At least make incoming SMS free on Senator Questions Rise In US Texting Prices · · Score: 1

At least make incoming SMS free. I get so many requests for money transfer SMSes from Nigeria and Togo.

I spent over $50 in text overages last January, so I got the $30 unlimited Family Messaging plan from AT&T. That worked.

In Asia, they have incoming SMS free, why not do it in other areas as well?

  10. Kick out spdf on Virginia Begins Open-Source Physics Textbook · · Score: 2, Insightful

Maybe dumping them in a remote country or island will solve part of the problem.

Or even better, just walk, or just use cycles... unless you want to know the difference between driving cars and riding cycles.

I don't get it. So, Google and Yahoo! are grabbing 80% of the market. How about the remaining 20%? Someone's making money off that area as well. How is Google a monopoly? Sounds at most a duopoly or most likely a leader, but not a monopoly!

  15. Spacewalk... in Bird's Nest Stadium? on China's First Spacewalk · · Score: 0, Offtopic

Since China is such a media-controlling country (apart from other kinds of control), they most likely would film their so-called spacewalk in Bird's Nest Stadium or somewhere similar.

Germany... well they are still in the 1940's trying to make amends for what the nazis did. I won't blame them for trying.

China banning this game? Yawn... so whats new? They ban everthing.

Oh, never mind the extensions. Firefox 3.1 alpha 2 just crashed on me. :-/
