I had a 20GB Pro and I upgraded to a 120GB not too long ago. I gave my 20GB to my best friend because she had an Arcade model.
With that being said, I must give Sony and Nintendo credit, PS3 supports any USB storage or 2.5" SATA (I have 500GB) thats formatted in FAT32 (nobody's perfect) while Nintendo supports any model SD cards up to 32GB SDHC which is "good enough" for the Wii.
I see this path going down the same way the controllers did
History lesson: since 3rd party controllers have died out they have doubled in price or more(at least in Australia. Even as far as last gen a wireless Gamecube controller 3rd party was $AU30, regular Gamecube, Xbox and PS2 controllers were about the same price both official and 3rd party.
Current prices:
360 Controller $AU64
Wiimote = $AU60, Nunchuck = $AU27, so for a usable control system thats $AU87
Dualshock 3 = $AU99
Prices may vary depending how well you shop around but you get my point. They are all way above the origional $30 price point for an extra controller.
I wonder if Microsoft are trying to plan the same fate for memory cards.
Despite the Debian repos have a crapload of games on there, the number isn't that high. Say for instance under the Games section you would have Wesnoth (awesome game) but there are 5 packages including sound, multiplayer etc.
One of the guys from GamePolitics asked him if he used the actual 'report group' funciton and see if that worked, Jack responded calling him and idiot/moron as he usually does with that site (he used to troll the comments sections quite frequently in the past.
Looks like they did it themselves and one of the groups listed in Thompsons lawsuit and it was gone within 24 hours
He could have easily did this himself but no, because he didnt go though the proper channels nothing happened. He may think he is a celebrity so a letter to the CEO is the way for him to do it. He may think hes so important that the CEO would drop everything and see into the matter personally.
My father did that. My brother installed XP and since then my folks call me with the usual problems, virus, ads pop up after visiting odd websites, the usual. I tell them to leave me alone with Windows problems because I flat out dont care.
I cant see the pictures because Photobucket is saying bandwith exceted, maybe someone should post them elsewhere (imageshack etc). I see I am not the only one:(
I cant get to a Best Buy because I live in Australia but I am wondering if Microsoft are doing this to other retail outlets. The basic premise is I take it Best Buy employees do not know any better to make an informed choice so they are easy targets. The average consumer wants Windows anyways because the average consumer only knows Windows and is too lazy to learn anything new (despite I think KDE and GNOME are easier to use for desktop purposes).
At least it shows that Linux has become a treat to the monopoly as a decade ago Microsoft use to pretend that Linux didn't exist and their only competition was MacOS.
America has a more free market than Europe. Most european countries have more regulations to ensure fair treatment of workers and fair competition which is why they give Microsoft such a hard time (they dont like private monopolies). If you do business in Europe you have to obey the laws of those countries you wish to do business in. American laws are not universal, they apply only to the US.
American businesses (big ones at least) need to learn theres laws and regulations to follow there, just like when French, German or UK company has to learn the laws and regulations of the US if they wish to do business there.
Ubisoft didn't make No More Heroes, Suda51/Grasshopper did, its a Japanese title. Ubisoft just published it for North America
But I do agree Ubisoft do get the Wii more than others but they too had a slow start, they just started earlier. At launch they had Red Steel (which sucked) plus bad ports of Farcry, Monster 4X4 and GT Pro Series with 2 winners, Splinter Cell DA (the Wii version is different but still pretty darn good) and Rayman Raving Rabbids.
After gaining experience with what works they even managed to beat Nintendo to be the first ones to have a good Balance Board game with Shawn White.
So far Capcom have delivered us Zack & Wiki plus some really good ports like Okami and RE4.
I agree with grandparent post, sure these guys gave us Brawl but there is no guarantee that will spill out into a game on Brawl's level, we can only hope.
Personally the real winners for the Wii in 2009 seem to be all published by Sega: House of the Dead: Overkill, The Conduit and of course MadWorld, a game who's anticipation doesn't touch the likes of upcoming sequels to Bioshock and F.E.A.R but still very keen on getting my hands on.

How do I get Finnish citizenship?
Is this the most tech friendly law passed by any country ever?
Linux games that I found/find genuinly fun:
Battle for Wesnoth
TORCS
Vega Strike
OpenArena

So who was doing the spying for them to 'prove' their case? Was it the the guys suing? Would that not make them liable for criminal prosecutions?
You could sell it, or it can be a christmas present you dont have to go out and buy(its only a few months off).
Interesting

This reeks like a desperate grab for attention. http://gamepolitics.com/2009/10/01/one-mouse-click-later-thompson-fb-group-removed
Not if you establish a copyleft law separate from copyright law.
Good pieces of legislation do not depend on other pieces of law as it is always possible for those other laws to be changed.
Its reasonable to depend only on Constitutional law as you require referendums to change those which are usually rare.
Simple: State in law a difference between Copyright and Copyleft. GPL would be classified as a Copyleft license and wont be affected.
Glad that was modded Informative because I do want that for me, I am dead serious!
Though if I sign up I will want to make it worthwhile. Meaning I will want to enter the 2010 elections.
Vote GoochOwnsYou, Senate 2010?

I would look into btrfs. Red Hat are pushing hard to get it into RHEL6/Fedora 12 so it should be pretty close to out the door.
Credibility? You must me new here.
