    What is so interesting about this netflix, hulu, and the like is that the customer is no longer paying for the delivery of the goods :: just the goods themselves. This is hugely beneficial to the the content provider and gives customers who are voting with their dollars more power: if comcast throttles netflix (like verizon did, or whoever did against twitch (i forget who that was) we are going to hear about those nefarious business practices pretty quickly. I, for one, welcome our new assembly line TV overloards.

    I use it all the time. I dont like to repeatedly switch from keyboard to mouse as it causes my shoulder to ache, and this i find it way faster to use all keyboard

    In October 2012, LBL had its Open House on the 12th. It would be a great exhibit to attract kids and adults alike and so I volunteered to build a copy of the ATLAS Lego Model for the Open House. The original Lego model was designed by Sascha Mehlhase and he maintains a website with information and a construction manual here.

    binary is preferable because of error correction. anything higher is significantly more susceptible to lost packets (exponentially by number of possible states).

    (and anything lower is error proof)

    Email is used here as tool and enabler for the actual work in the org. I dont think much productivity was lost, the staff just went back to doing their primary functions. Not to be enigmatic but it is equivalent to say they went back to making widgets. Of the 50k staff, ~40k of them do not sit in front of a PC all day.

    yup same here - our organization of +50,000k users was affected. we pay for their suite and just switched over this year.
