    I tend to think about Intelligence and Wisdom like so:
    Intelligence is the ability to store data, like a hard-drive; the hard-drive can't understand anything on it.
    Wisdom is the ability to process and understand information.

    Without one the other is useless, but I would consider Wisdom something that is more useful in the modern world; as we can have pretty much any information we want at our fingertips in seconds with the internet + computers, understanding the information it is the part that computers can't do.

    Would conditioning apply in things like reducing pain, or does it only apply to voluntary actions?

    If you give a painkiller while poking an animal in a certain location repeatedly, if you remove the painkiller without it being able to tell; will the poking elicit the same response as with the painkiller?

    I wouldn't be surprised if these Australian 'edits' are just the same or pretty similar to the German version of L4D 2, but I guess it's nice for Valve to be getting some more publicity; as the German censorship doesn't seem to be news any more.

    I can imagine it's something that's hard-wired into us as living animals, think of it like this:
    If you take advantage of someone you know (and will see again), it is likely that it will come back to bite you in the future.

    While if you take advantage of someone you will never see again, there will probably be no consequences in the future.

    I think you'd have an easier time trying to count how many photos aren't airbrushed; you wouldn't even need a single hand to count them.

    There's nothing like a screen that even remotely appears to respond to viewer interaction to get children involved.

    I can guarantee that it's not just children, look at how popular the iPhone is; I'd hazard a guess it's due to the touch screen.

    Maybe he was referring to the large spew of console ports to the PC rescently, the last few I've tried have been pretty good but some are down right awful.

    I got pretty used to the config files of the Unreal engine (since that's what most of them seemed to use), a lot of the time it was probably easier or only possible to change keys through the config files directly.

    But most of the ports wern't even worth playing to be honest.

    And WHY on earth has Slashdot stopped allowing line breaks with pure text, and ignoring the BR tag when I change it to HTML coding >:C
