But are the problems caused by the brain or just bad eyesight?
I can imagine anyone 'regaining' their sight probably doesn't have the same quality eyes as someone that has never lost their vision.
IIRC running more than 1 copy of World of Warcraft per PC isn't allowed (but isn't enforced), I'm pretty sure this was pointed out in the Blizzard vs. Glider Bot lawsuit.
I highly doubt that guy has 36 computers, and without using some sort of software mechanism to spread keypresses among them (which also isn't allowed).
Bear in mind that something exciting is only exciting in comparison to what happened before, a rose is only especially beautiful because of the boring dandelions everywhere.
A game that is constantly "exciting" will get exhausting quickly.
Valve has done a great job with Left4Dead where they manage how "stressful" the situation is, and makes sure it has peaks and troughs.
This doesn't really apply to these travel times, especially if they are ridiculously long (say 10-20 minute), I'd presume they are mainly there for pacing reasons. You don't want players being able to get to everywhere instantly, especially if you're getting payed the longer they play.
I think Google bought a few of them up, they have http://gooogle.com/ (There's 3 Os).
I guess it's probably not worth the hassle of buying up so many when usually people have you homepaged or as a search bar, I don't know anyone that manually types google in anymore.
The match making system is also still terrible for a quite a large percentage of the player base.
They finally fixed it so that players can join my lobbies, but it still can't find a dedicated server when I want to start the game. Bear in mind that I have 15 empty servers between my different steam groups, and I could easily just go into my history and join a server myself in about 10 seconds flat.
Oh and they broke the 'sv_search_key' functionality, that would allow you to find a server with a specific tag, so if you had your own dedicated you could join it from a lobby.
And then there's the annoying fact that once you're in-game, people will leave, and servers either have the spot taken instantly or will never have a single person join for the whole game; consistency would be nice.
The match making system was a nice idea, but whoever implemented needs slapping with it's current usefulness.
Something can burn bright but for not very long; take Portal for example, probably one of my favourite games of all time and yet I completed it in 1 day.
If you called a lifeboat crewman a lifeguard he'd smack you in the face.
But would he then save you from drowning in the 2 feet of water you were standing in beforehand?

How many people do you know that actually ready the TOS before they purchase the product?
How many products do you know, that have a TOS you can read before purchasing?
You mean you haven't realised that the rest of us on here are actually just chatbots?
1188877, is that us?
I won't be buying a first generation one of these, it's bound to have a tonne of bugs.
The kid is 13 - to put that in perspective he was only 10 in 2006, only 5 in 2001, and 3 in 2009.
Was the kid called Benjamin Button?
Especially since respawning is hard for most people.
Yeh, it's one of the racial attributes of Buddhists.

Surely we've advanced far enough to be able to 'trace' curved lines?

Zombies? On my Slashdot? It's more likely than you think.
Well the main route for evolution to occur (survival of the fittest) is pretty much dead.
You mean anti-music.
Wireless is hardly known for it's fast latency times; lag is bad enough when you're playing a video game, let alone a multi-million dollar mech.
The Germans also killed a couple million people to accomplish that task...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but killing people doesn't really help the creation of jets or rockets.
But can it run Crysis?

No, no, no, you've got it wrong. These are APPLE geeks, they're cool and get laid all the time... Right?
If it helps, trying to imagine a Beowulf cluster of them isn't any easier.
Well if flashes are death-rays, just tell someone they're a celebrity and the paparazzi should finish them off quick enough.
